Loved my 5 night stay here. I am a working professional and used the location to access work site in and around the Pelican Lake area. internet was fast. The food at the lounge that's literally a 2 min walk away was great. The owner of the Airbnb also owns the lounge and the dynamic is perfect 👌. I'm going to address some of the, less than ideal reviews. I stay in a TON of Airbnb for work and have a good eye when it comes to finding decent stays. This is a BEACHFRONT lake location. I grew up on a farm and had a cabin on the beach at a nearby lake. There are bugs. This is a LAKE thing. The inside of the Airbnb had zero bugs when I stayed. But outside there can be, and naturally will be some bugs. Like dragon flies, spiders, big geese that might make noise. That type of thing. Everything about a lake experience, this location has it along with one heck of a good local host and boat parking right out front. Fishing 👌💯 This location was has a spot on my top 5 list for stays. Loved

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived to this serene retreat! The rustic decor, wood fuelled (wood supplied) fireplace and the stunning riverfront and pasture views were highlights. The property is remote and we loved the location as it’s very close to drive into Souris. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place on Violet. It was clean and spacious and we spent time in the yard grilling and playing yard games. The beds were comfortable. The Keurig was great for a quick cup of strong coffee in the morning. Kathryn was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. Great little home to stay while we were visiting family in Brandon. A beautiful long-term stay for people who work from home. The internet was great for zoom work. The house is spacious and the number of rooms and bathrooms provided privacy for everyone. The yard and community was very peaceful and quiet. The small grocery store has all the necessities and then some. Communication with Ashleen was quick and easy. Would definitely stay again.

A gem of a stay hidden alongside the Souris River. The pictures don’t do this place justice! We had an awesome time celebrating a bachelor party. The cabin is completely private so no noise concerns. A totally unique experience - you’ll get to ride down with Tanis on a side-by-side which adds to the unique experience of staying here. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a very well-priced getaway in southern MB!
