Vacation rentals with breakfast in Waterford

Kevin was a great host, Lovely house, very spacious, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and fantastic location for the church & step house hotel for a wedding we attended. Great to park up and walk around. Beautiful surroundings. Very nice town and the people were very friendly. Thanks Kevin.

A very comfortable and cosy cottage, beautifully decorated, part of a traditional family farm. Mags and family made us feel very welcomed. Thank for the lovely homemade bread. The property is some way down country lanes so not easy to find but persevere, its worth it for the peace and rural setting. Inistioge village is very attractive and offers local walks; it is a few minutes by car. There are also walks from the property. For supermarkets, local services and all sorts of places to eat New Ross is nearest. Lovely countryside, well worth exploring which we shall aim to do another time.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, mit dem Auto ist man aber schnell in Cork. Traumhafte Aussicht und grosszügige Zimmer. Kochen in der geräumigen Küche ist möglich, die Töpfe waren etwas klein. Es gibt eine Heissluft Friteuse, perfekt für Kartoffeln. Saubere Zimmer, sauberes Badezimmer und allgemein sehr guter Zustand. Marie war sehr freundlich und einladend und hat uns vor der Ankunft über den Check-In informiert. Vielen Dank

What a little gem. About 400 metres to the village of Bunmahon where the local pub and coffee shop can be visited. (Book the pub for dinner if Sat evening). Coffee shop has lovely local copper coast coffee and tasty whipped ice cream. Additional baked goods available and some sandwich options. Best for coffee and ice cream. You can surf on the beach with Bunmahon Surf School (Tadhg has been situated there for 15 years so lots of experience). The house itself is over 3 floors, beautifully designed and decorated. Morning sun up until about 3/4pm on the back balcony with comfy lounge seats and then a lovely little area out front to catch evening sun. Hot water in both walk in showers whenever needed. Soap/shampoo/conditioner available too. Plunge pot coffee/air fryer/microwave/hon/oven all available. Recycling bins available. Parking for 3 vehicles. Greenway close by. Cathal and Paul have created wonderful place to stay for enjoying local with a colourful welcoming interior.

We only stayed one night but had a lovely family evening in front of a roaring log fire, a great sleep surrounded by total quiet and then a great breakfast looking out across the valley. The Christmas tree and decorations were up and we really liked how the home was both incredibly spacious but also very homely. Loved it all!

Terry's place is perfect. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and also has lots of character and personal touches such as the musical instruments. It is in a great location near Kilmore with lots to do and close to Mary Barry's restaurant which is worth a visit. We would definitely recommend to others and hope to return one day.

Teresa was a very warm host and had lovely brown bread prepaired, was most welcoming and the accommodation was excellent. And well back hopefully soon.

John ist ein sehr freundlicher, großzügiger Gastgeber. Das Zimmer u.Bad sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich als Gast kaum vorstellen kann. Das Zuhausegefühl stelt sich sofort bei Betreten ein. Einfach wunderbar! Der "Frühstücksutensilienschrank" u.Kühlschrank lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Es ist rundum an alles gedacht, was zum Wohlgefühl in irgendeiner Weise beitragen könnte, im Zimmer, im.Bad, beim Frühstück. Das Haus liegt ruhig in einer schönen Landschaft. Die Betten/ Matratzen sind bequem, das Zimmer ist groß mit Esstisch-Sitzplatz. Alles ist liebevoll passend zum Stil des alten Hauses dekoriert. Die Fußbodenheizung sorgte für eine angenehme Wärme. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank an John und Margret

The Coach House was a great place to stay. It was exactly as described. Sally was responsive and took care of everything we needed! The grounds are lovely and the cottage is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Sally. She is a pleasant hostess and takes great care of the cottage and her guests.

A great place to stay! Cathy, the host, was most welcoming - having set up croissants & cups after a long day’s drive-it was such a lovely touch! The place was as described-cosy comfortable & cute!Cathy was easily available for any of our needs. The location was super! close to the city’s centre-the walk down the hill was easy & the return helped keep us fit!! Our accommodation helped make our stay in Cork all the more enjoyable!

we enjoyed our time here, it was close to the town so it was accessible to shops and pubs. the place was spotless clean and the bed was so comfortable. the best part was the labrador that always came to say hello! not that we needed it, but there’s no kitchen just incase someone is looking to make some food at home. enjoyed our stay, would love to come back!

Wir waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft von Johanna, hätten aber durchaus noch länger dort wohnen bleiben können. Johanna hat uns am Ankunftstag an der Bushaltestelle abgeholt und zum Appartement gefahren, wo sie uns die Schlüssel überreichte, letzte Instruktionen gab und sogar für uns einkaufen ging. Dafür noch einmal ein großes Dankeschön!!! Die Unterkunft liegt nur etwa 2 Minuten Fußweg von der High Street, der Haupteinkaufsstraße und etwa 5 Minuten vom großen Supermarkt entfernt. Auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie Kilkenny Castle, sind zu Fuß in knapp 10 - 15 Minuten erreichbar. Eine Zughaltestelle ist ebenfalls in 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, von wo aus man nach Waterford und auch nach Dublin fahren kann. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen und auch selbst wieder buchen. Danke für die schöne Zeit in Kilkenny!

We were warmly welcomed. It's rare to find a host with so many years of professional B&B experience, which is evident in the attention to detail, right down to the bible in a drawer - once a mainstay in guesthouses and hotels. Immaculate, and spotless. The small comforts, and accessibility to local sights, that many international visitors look for, are there. There's a spacious bathroom and well proportioned bedroom with wardrobe and room for two cases. Large comfortable bed, extra pillows, plenty of towels. We wanted for nothing - including at breakfast in the adjoining dining area, when Helen provided delicious cooked meals and more. She very much engages and cares for those under her roof. We left the car parked in her carpark during our stay. From her home it's a short walk into the historic precinct of Kilkenny for food, shopping and historical exploration. Helen also provides tips for dining, sightseeing, a map, and there are now, informative tourism pamphlets. Thumbs up!

New Thatch Farm is gorgeous. It has been beautifully renovated by Sonia and we wished we could have stayed longer than one night. Highly recommended.

Two thumbs up as everything was there that we needed. I had a sore shoulder and she supplied me with a cold compress. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed meeting the other guest. We got in a little later so we weren’t able to travel around the grounds or anything, but they are actually beautiful with all the flowers and foliage.

Where do we start…this was our first stop in Ireland after a long trip from Toronto and Agnes went above and beyond to make us feel right at home, her hospitality is outstanding, the house is immaculate inside and out!! We felt like a King and Queen with the service of an awesome Irish breakfast!! The knowledge Agnes shares about the area is incredible, we wished we could have stayed longer but we know we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience you certainly deserve 10stars if we could give you them!! This place should be on everyone’s bucket list! Glenn and Mo

Un bien bel endroit Authentique et tenu par la même famille depuis des siècles Un bon petit déjeuner Une literie confortable Un charme magnifique. Peu de chambres et donc peu de monde dans le château. C’est un bonheur Les hôtes sont très accueillants et réactifs Les jardins sont superbes et c’est agréable de s’y balader le soir en y étant seuls. Ça fait plaisir de voir des châteaux irlandais qui ne sont pas encore transformés en hôtel ! Bravo

The stay at Cyril‘s B&B has been amazing. The room looks exactly like the pictures. It had an en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was the best, including a delicious fresh fruit salad and scrambled egg, etc - impossible to try everything. It was great to have a parking space inside the gate, and that it was within walking distance to the city center. Good recommendations from Cyril for day trips and restaurants.

I came for just one night, wet and slightly muddy from a tour up in the mountains. And what did I find? A beautiful house, clean, picturesque, homely, a nice hot shower and a very friendly and forthcoming Ann, who gave me time to settle down, but was always there for a talk, offering tea and advice about what to see next day. Breakfast next morning was marvellously delicious, with fruit (i.e. strawberries!), muesli, yoghurt, homemade breads, spreads, and also porridge and sausages, if one liked. There really was nothing to be wished for, except a longer stay...

Review: Our stay at this accommodation has been nothing short of wonderful. We felt incredibly comfortable and warm throughout our time here, making it a truly cozy retreat. Tina has been an absolute delight—kind, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. Listening to her travel and life stories was both fascinating and enriching, adding a unique and personal touch to our experience. As for the breakfast, it was simply outstanding—delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and an absolute treat to start the day. We will undoubtedly recommend this place to others and, without a doubt, return ourselves.
