Monthly Rentals in Washington

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

We spent a lovely Christmas at Gramdma's house. The house was very easy to find using the map reference supplied, and there was plenty of room for parking. The house was very much traditional, with a very much "retro" theme, furnished as it would have been in the 1970s. It was a unique experience, and could never be described as modern! It was very comfortable, well stocked, and Kim was a wonderful host. It is a short, 5 minute walk to the Inn at Little Washington.

The location was exactly what we wanted and needed to help us transition into the area ahead of our relocation. The host was super accommodating to our long stay needs especially when the construction of our new home fell slightly behind schedule and he quickly extended our stay to align to our new move in date. We loved the mountain location and all of the visiting wildlife. such a great experience.

Great spot and very close to downtown. All points of interest downtown are walking distance. I would recommend to anyone looking to spend time in Washington VA.
