We loved our stay in Greta’s apartment. It’s a self-contained apartment on the first floor; it’s about 15 minutes on the bus into the centre of Bayreuth, and around 30 mins to the Festspielhaus. (We walked back from the Festspielhaus one evening which took about 1.5 hours - a nice walk). There’s a good supermarket with an excellent bakery attached to it about 5-10 mins walk away. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and peaceful - with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. While my friend was in the main bedroom, I slept in the work room on the sofa bed - which was comfortable and cosy so is a great second bedroom. There was coffee, tea, chocolate and a bottle of wine when we arrived which was a nice touch. Greta was very kind, even giving us lifts to the theatre and to the train station. She has a genuine warmth and it was a pleasure to meet her, and to stay in her apartment. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the turn of the year. The location requires a car The closer and wider area has plenty to offer especially for hiking enthusiasts. The apartment is rustically cozy. However, you should be good to walk due to the steep stairs. The kitchen equipment (dishes/cutlery) was a bit spartan. We would have liked a little more. As it is a courtyard, we were initially mistaken around looking for the key safe. But since we were sighted right away, the problem was quick to fix. Parking is easily possible. Very good shopping facilities are available in the neighboring village of Erbendorf.

The apartment was clean, large and the view from the dining table was very nice.

I myself was not a guest of Helene's, but a good friend with a companion who could not book themselves due to their advanced age. Both were thrilled with the place. I myself was positively impressed by the speed of Helene's answers and I am especially grateful that a booking was possible for my friend and her companion and worked so easily.

Very good accommodation and warm hospitality for people and dogs. There were two of us with two dogs and we all felt very comfortable. The place is equipped as described and everything was very clean. Kay and his family were always available and very friendly. There was a welcome gift for humans and animals, as well as wood for the fire pit. We were even able to get into the property earlier and leave later. Since we planned hikes, we got our money's worth, because the location is optimal to start directly from the front door. The accommodation is located directly on the edge of the forest, so it was just wonderfully quiet and relaxing for everyone. We would love to come back, with more time for more hiking trails. We felt well taken care of from day one! The location is perfectly quiet and there is a park in front of the door. What more could you want? Walking distance to shopping and the U-Bahn. We were completely satisfied 😊

Very friendly! The home well very well kept, had kid toys and games, and was very clean. Beautiful and peaceful neighborhood made this stay perfect for our family.

We felt very comfortable. A lovingly renovated house in a beautiful little place with a great hostess. The different levels in the garden offer many possibilities. Downstairs terrace, barbecue area, upstairs the roof for sports and climbing, the sundeck. Hiking directly from the house. As a quick reader, I also devoured the exciting book written by Tanja. Thank you for making it so nice for your guests!

Denise's apartment is very centrally located and nicely cozy . I was there alone, but if all 4 beds were occupied, it would still not be too tight . Communication was nice and always timely . Check-in with nice personal key service . Very eager and friendly. I'd love to come back again again !

If you want a little break from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. Mr. Ulm is very friendly and helpful and you can tell that he and his wife have given a lot of thought to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Here is especially the "mini supermarket" where you can find everything you need for a short break (e.g. hot rolls, noodles, coffee, etc.). Even if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are catering dishes from a local catering company that can be easily prepared in the oven and taste great, without any artificial ingredients. In addition to the living area, there is the separate spa area. Here, too, there is a lot of love for detail such as homemade scrubs and sauna infusions, so you can spend some relaxing hours here. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful apartment in Bad Elster. Perfect location - walking distance to parks and bakery, surrounded by forest with beautiful starry skies at night. Me, my boyfriend and our 4-year-old daughter stayed with Sylvia for one night. We immediately felt at home and slept very well. The small attic apartment was lovingly furnished and very quiet. Our daughter felt very comfortable in the children's corner equipped with games. Sylvia was a nice and accommodating hostess and kindly assisted us with the late check-in. We can warmly recommend their cozy place.
