The unit is attached to our shed, it has 1 bedroom, bathroom and an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with excellent indoor outdoor flow. Owned by a young family, please make sure you’re ok with hearing kids and sounds that come from a rural environment

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄

Set in trees, it is private and peaceful, accessed by a guest lift which will carry you and your bags up the hill. Driftwood has been lovingly hand built by the owners with artisan touches. Furnished for your comfort with a luxurious King bed. On the deck there's a large 2 person sized hot bath (no jets) with views to the mountains for your relaxation .

This is a private and self-contained studio-apartment within easy walking distance of central Wanaka. There is a full kitchen and laundry, Netflix available on smart TV, spa bath on deck, off street parking and views to the mountains from the sunny balcony. The studio is set in a park-like setting with mature trees. The comfortable queen sized bed has an electric blanket and quality linen. This studio only a 5 minutes walk from the edge of Lake Wanaka.
