Located in a quiet area on the edge of lake Wanaka. Nestled beside our home . We are located close to the lake and walking tracks which will take you on an easy stroll to town, where you can enjoy shopping and the many cafes and restaurants. The outdoors offers endless opportunities with 3 ski fields, the lake, biking or just simply sit, relax and enjoy the view. There are builders working next door. The builders normally work between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. We look forward to welcoming you.🙂

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located in Albert Town near the Clutha river, it is a 2 minute walk to the Patisserie, Four Square shop, Pub and Takeaways, with a great swimming hole a 5 minute stroll from home. The home has a sunny sheltered deck and I am often on hand for any tips and tricks, as I have moved into my back yard garden. There are two bikes and two kayaks available for use as well. We have cycle tracks in all directions to explore the surrounds.

This is my holiday house, built in 2017. Sun drenched in Summer and warm and cosy in Winter. Heated/Cooled by heat pumps x 3 and a wood burner. Wood fired Hot Tub (extra charge). The ideal get away! Situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood surrounded by permanent residents. Quick stroll to the lake, hotel/bar/restaurant and convenience store. 15 minutes from Wanaka and 45 minutes to both ski fields. You’ll love it, as I do! We had the most amazing time at the River House. The house is fantastic, perfect amenities and right on the river. Jo was a fantastic communicator so helpful with any questions we had and we greatly appreciated Ken ensuring we had enough firewood. We had a lovely time and we were so sad to leave. We had the best family vacation ever at the Nook, a haven of tranquility and peace in the busy resort town of Wanaka. The hosts, Tom and Emily, spared no effort in ensuring a comfortable stay for us, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and soft white linens. We loved picking fresh produce from the garden (strawberries, kale, broccoli, herbs) and relaxing on the front porch while enjoying the spectacular views of the lake and the mountains. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished, and we felt so lucky to be able to call it home for a week. Thank you, Tom and Emily, for making your lovely home available to us.

Buchanan Lodge - luxurious lakefront family home

We loved our stay at Buchanan lodge! It is a lovely, spacious home that feels peaceful and elegant, but also so comfortable. The doors opening up on either side of the house let the wonderful breezes in. We ate dinners outside with the sun on our backs, looking at the lake and mountains, it was just delightful. The location was perfect for us, close to Wanaka, but also to hiking and mountain biking. We will have special memories of our stay there!
