Wow! What a place! The moment we arrived we felt relaxed and calm, the combination of the sound of the river flowing, the snow on the mountain peaks, the green grass and unbelievable views immediately calmed the soul. We loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains and the steam sauna just outside of the house. The house is spacious, the linen is sooo comfortable, it has everything you could want and more. we have traveled all over the world and Rebecca and Graeme’s Airbnb is right up there with one of the best we have stayed. Thank you SO MUCH for hosting us, we can’t wait to visit again next year.

The location of this property is really beautiful. Spacious grounds, beautiful river, gorgeous views, it’s so good. The house itself is really nice too, with high timber ceilings, plenty of space, great views, good heating, everything you need. It is semi-attached to the host’s home, but still sufficiently private. Being able to park in the garage underneath gave us a handy space for packing and unpacking out of the weather.

Would happily stay at Kieran’s place again. Has everything you could need along with great views of the lake and easy walking distance to the heritage precinct. Kieran was also a wonderful host who kept in touch to ensure everything was perfect.

The Cornish Point house is a great option for a large family or a couple of families. The house is older but in good condition with large rooms. Each room has an ensuite. The kitchen is small for the size of the house but two people can be in there cooking ok. The dinning table seated 8 of us just with the use of outside chairs. The fireplace warmed the house well and was nice to drink a Pinot in front of. The location is great for popping on to the most beautiful part of the Lake Dunston trail and just down the road from Carrick Winery which has a great restaurant for lunch and also casual pizzas etc until 5pm. We sat in the sun there and drank wine and ate Pizza and admired the view and it was awesome. There are fleeting views of the lake/river from the house due to planting inbetween the house and the water. It would be amazing to clear a better view there!

The house was terrific, spotlessly clean and attractive with a beautiful view out to the water from the living area. It is a quiet area, the beds are super comfy and everything felt thought through and welcoming. If we were staying for longer we would have certainly pottered off along the walkway beside the water. Wendy was very friendly and I would definitely stay again.

Stephen is truly a gentleman and the place is absolutely stunning! The hot tub was the highlight and Stephen was kind enough to get it ready for us when we wanted. Wanaka is short drive from the vineyard and there are plenty of other great places to visit nearby! If you’re looking to stay in this region, go for it !

Walkable to town while a little away from the other stay places. A very beautiful location. All in all a marvellous stay.

Cathy greeted myself and my partner upon arrival and was so friendly. Upon arriving at the front door of the guesthouse we were greeted with the lovely smell of the lavender plant. First impressions of the guest house was that it was exactly how it was pictured - tidy, clean, cozy, minimalistic decoration and done very well. We appreciated the array of teas and drinks available. Everything we needed was there for an easy and comfortable stay. The location is in a small neighbourhood. It was quiet as expected but occasionally heard the barking of a neighbours dog but that’s all. Minimal light pollution out there so we were able to enjoy some star gazing at night. Cathy was a wonderful host being very responsive and giving recommendations of local spots to visit. We ended up having dinner at the Moorings restaurant which was a 10 minute walk from the guest house. Lovely meal. My only regret was not being able to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful large windows of the accomodation

This was a perfect place to stay for those of us who enjoy walks in a peaceful location backing the beautiful Lake Wanaka. Many other wonderful places including the busy town are a short drive away. The accommodation is comfortable and hosts very welcoming.

Lovely view from upstairs. Beds comfy. Great coffee machine & appreciated the beans, sugar etc that was supplied.

We cannot recommend Maria's place in Wanaka more! In my experience, it is not common for an Airbnb to exceed expectations, but this beautiful property did that and more! The apartment is pristine, the view unbelievable, and the very easy walk to and from town made this location a dream! It was wonderfully peaceful and quiet, truly a highlight of our time in New Zealand. We will absolutely return and hope to stay with Maria again. Thank you so much for having us!

The place is incredible. We stayed for 3 nights and I wish it was for more ! It’s exactly like the pictures, magical views, high end fit out with the top products. Everything is so well thought out in the apartment, from those extra touches like the blankets near the balcony, the incredible bean bag seats that are like sitting in clouds near the fire place, to little things like the awesome products provided in the bathroom. The kids loved having a tv in their room and it was kitted out with Netflix. We loved the kitchen and the wine fridge and the drying cupboard in the laundry was another extra great touch ! The only thing which wasn’t their fault as it’s run by the building management was after skiing we were so looking forward to a hot spa and each time we went there when we got off the mountain it was pool temperature not warm enough to sit in. I have a feeling maybe they turn it off at 5pm as we were getting there at 5:30pm. We would be back there in a heartbeat, so special !

Loved Leigh’s place - it was clean, tidy and really peaceful. I felt right at home. Great spot to walk around to quieter bits of Lake Wānaka to enjoy the views and swim. Would definitely visit again!

Even more beautiful than the pictures. The balcony is sublime and it’s a short walk to the downtown restaurants on a very pleasant boardwalk. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the complex property.

What a slice of heaven on Lake Hawea. That view! So peaceful to enjoy looking out at breakfast and when the sun set. Great house to base ourselves and explore the Otago area - very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Holly is a gem and was so responsive and helpful as we planned out our stay.
