Had a lovely stay, great location to enjoy the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. A warming welcome to a roaring wood burner after a long walk went down a treat!

We had a great stay here over the Easter weekend. John and Paul have put a lot of thought and care into restoring the cottage and we especially enjoyed looking at the before and after photos! Amazing accommodation and fantastic hiking and exploring in the local area. Definitely recommended!

Lovely historic cottage attached to the main house. Well maintained with good quality fittings. Note there is a water softener fitted, so there is a separate tap for drinking water. There are a couple of dogs and cats next door, as well as chickens and a guinea fowl who occasionally appear in the garden, much to the dog's surprise. There is plenty of attractions around, a couple of National Trust houses and the market towns of Ludlow, Leominster and Presteigne.

Thank you Rita & David for an amazing stay! The shepherds hut was easy to find, in a beautiful area and very peaceful. It was very clean and modern and the beds were very comfortable! Rita greeted us on arrival and showed us around and was very informative about the local area. We really loved our stay and would love to come again😊thank you!!
