House vacation rentals in Waltensburg/Vuorz

I wish I could give Monia’s home 10 stars. She’s the epitome of a super host, and her home, is just wow. Spacious, clean, well furnished, private, peaceful with gorgeous views. Monia’s home is one of the top airbnbs I’ve stayed in. The check-in process was flexible and seamless. In fact, she accommodated an early check in after having to leave another airbnb after an unfortunate situation. She had a basket of goodies waiting for us on the table and we immediately felt right at home. She went out of her way to make us a second bed, and get us more nespresso pods. She was also quick and so kind in her responses. We work from home, and the setting/ wifi was great. Although the pool was closed for the season, it was so nice to spend our mornings in the sun on the lounge chairs. I loved taking walks in the forest behind the house, and watching the sunset from the bench outside. I can’t recommend Monia’s home enough. We were sad to leave, and will definitely return back. Absolutely perfect house, beautiful interiors and insanely spotless like I’ve never seen before, it’s practically a showroom from the pages of a magazine! There is a great clear view down to the lake but it’s very close to the neighbours on three sides which I didn’t realize, the garden is practically shared and we were a bit unlucky on our first night the teenagers next door spent the evening having a smoking and drinking (and swearing!) session which put an end to our relaxing evening! But this absolutely beyond the control of the host who was AMAZING. The pool was mildly heated so swimmable in cold weather and would be perfect in summer.

The house is really the way you expect it to be according to the pictures. A feel-good place with everything you need. The kitchen is more than sufficiently equipped for large groups of people. The garden, sauna, pool and spacious common areas guarantee a feel-good atmosphere.

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

Thierry’s place was wonderful! We spent 5 full days there and absolutely loved it. It’s in the beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Zurich city center. Plenty of space and we loved using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Would absolutely stay there again! One thing to note - do not ask for them to call you a taxi as they charged us 130 Swiss francs when an Uber is only about 40.

Simply a great place to stay for a vacation in Ticino. Brigitte personally welcomed us and showed us everything. She gave us great recommendations for the area, which we tried directly and enriched our vacation with her knowledge of Ticino. The Ticino house is very nice, practical and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful seating, especially outside, with great views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore in the distance. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances all work very well. The wine cellar also invites you to taste. We always liked to include the box with travel guides, maps and brochures in our daily planning. We also liked the location of the house. Somewhat away from major main roads, but also not too far off. Thus, the trips to the excursion destinations were very pleasant and shopping facilities were also easy and quick to reach by car

Beautifully located home in a very quiet area from the terrace there is a beautiful view of the mountains. Getting to the house itself is quite demanding even in the summer, if you do not have a car, unfortunately I do not recommend renting because there is a long and steep road from the bus stop. Very comfortable beds and clean linens. A large fridge and freezer, which was quite key due to the distance to the nearest store. A very well-equipped house with a grill on the terrace and pots, pans, silverware, in general, everything you need to cook your meals. A parking space on a flat surface for at least 2 cars. You can have a dog, although the area is not fenced from the street, but there is very little car traffic. Very nice and friendly owner. We had a wonderful 3 weeks and really recommend this house for rent.

Dominic and his father are kind, respectful and considerate. We exchanged ideas on where to hike and what to wear even though we are busy. I’m thankful to have the time to stay in the Aeblis’ house. It has everything you need: dishwasher, washer, hot shower and numerous heaters, for the WC to the bedroom. For me I sleep cool, so the heater in the toilet is enough for warmth on most days; sometimes I use my headlights just because I want to “set the mood”. The bed, pillow and blankets are very comfortable. The living room is always toasty due to the floor heating. Windows are modern and you can’t hear the highway noise when shut. If you have lived in a modern hutte like Kesch, then that's what you can expect + stable internet from router. It is also much less “touristy” or crowded on the way there than Valais, i very much appreciate that. Hope to have the chance to swing by again and accomplish routine hikes!

We had a lovely weekend stay at Carmen's place. The views were incredible and the house was everything we hoped for. Carmen was very responsive to all of our questions, big or small. We would absolutely stay again and are eager to plan another trip soon.

We had a great time in a spotless accommodation and located in a very beautiful peaceful setting. Great area for hiking enthusiasts ( this was our starting point for Fronalpstock)!

We celebrated the 60th birthday of our family head on a small scale as a family trip. The house is in a very nice location and is perfect for a few days of vacation. The house offers everything you could ask for.

The house is perfectly equipped and ideally located in Ela Park. Suitable for a quiet stay, close to nature with all the comforts you need. Multiple hiking opportunities from and around the accommodation. We had a wonderful time with the family in this warm setting. Thanks to Genevieve for her good advice, responsiveness and suggestions that were appreciated.

Corinne received us warmly. The place was clean and homey, we slept great after a long day on the skis. She decorated the accommodation warmly with small details, the common room was also super nice, unfortunately we did not come to make big use of it.

Beautiful view of the lake and the opposite shore towards Blumenberg. Not only the large garden and the diverse offer for outdoors (boats, SUPs, etc.) are ideal, but also the well-equipped kitchen. Excellent cleanliness throughout the house. The nearby highway was a small downside. Thanks to the top hosts Chantal and family for a pleasant stay in the lake villa.
