We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Groovy and eclectic place that was as fun as it was comfortable! Claire is such a wonderful sweet person - she had eggs waiting for us from her own hens and many other treats/breakfast items. House was roomy for our crew of 5. Probably the most wonderful thing about our stay was that Claire had arranged a heated drying rack for us after I asked if we’d be able to wash and dry our laundry while there - it was so incredibly nice of her! While the eclectic style of the house may not be for every taste, one cannot go wrong with staying with Claire, the entire experience was just wonderful!

I had a very pleasant stay here, it felt like home straight away. Very clean , comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. Joanne is an amazing host , occasionally saying hi and having a nice conversation with me. I felt really happy here and will be staying again ! 100% would recommend as a peaceful and elegant getaway ! If you like nature and sunshine , Joanne’s garden is the place to be and Jesmond Dene just being a stone throw away for the perfect nature walk.

We stayed in this peaceful and spacious flat due to having renovations going on at our property which didn’t quite go to plan. The time we did spend in wylam was great, some lovely walks for our dog 🐶 😊Everything we needed and great for my son to work from 👍Would be more than happy to stay again

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at Rosaleen’s place. The living area is spacious with large, comfortable sofas and a smary tv perfect for a cozy movie night. The kitchen was well equipped to cook a couple of meals and we saw a lovely sunset out the window there! The bathroom was super spacious and clean - the whole apartment was very clean. The main bedroom was very light and airy and spacious - both rooms we used were comfortable and peaceful. Would recommend a stay here and we would stay again if we were visiting the area again

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

The iron chapel is a wonderful place to stay, full of character, and a lovely place to spend time with family. Lisa and Michael were great hosts, very quick to reply to any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the iron chapel. Andy & Sarah.

Lovely flat in a fabulous location. Ground floor had the advantage of a lovely front garden area - shame we didn’t have any sunshine! John was great he communicated with us throughout our stay and his instructions for check in were clear and concise., Only thing I missed was the kitchen area had very few baking trays for the oven. We did nip out and buy a couple from the nearby Morrisons so we could cook a couple of pizzas. Easily solved and not a huge problem. I would recommend this flat, fabulous!

James and Mark were perfect hosts, always responsive to questions but not intrusive during our stay. The place is immaculate, very clean and comfortable and amazingly quiet for an apartment, the whole area is. Private parking which is a godsend as the visitor spaces are always taken and easy to check in, if staying in the area again I wouldn't stay anywhere else if it was available

Credit where it’s due, the house was super comfy and located a short walk into town. The Host, Munro was always avatars came to see us when we couldn’t quite grasp what he meant. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend this house if you’re in the area.

Great place to stay - lovely accommodation, handy for the metro and shops. We’ve been here a few times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we were coming up to Newcastle for a few days

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

A lovely, well equipped, comfortable cottage which was really close to the promenade and also the shops and services. We were very happy there. Newbiggin is a fascinating town and the huge kites on the beach over the Easter weekend were amazing. There’s a really good sense of being in a vibrant, welcoming community. Thank you.

Carla's house is a gorgeous house of dreams... really gorgeous especially if you like period properties like the little geeks we are. We were a little unsure of how it would be staying the the cellar of someone's house especially as we have a very vocal 18 month old but it was really private and didn't feel strange at all. Carla went the extra mile by providing a fridge full of essential food (and a little bottle of Prosecco), had a selection of toys for our little boy and had loads of great local recommendations. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

My work colleague and I needed a place for 4 weeks of work in Newcastle, and Thomas’ place was perfect. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, with a dining table, lots of space upstairs, effectively we had a floor and bathroom each. The centre of town is only a 20 mins walk. Thomas was a superb host.
