Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Wallowa County

Wonderful place in the heart of Joseph with an amazing view of the Wallowas right out the living room window! The space had everything I needed for a cozy stay, plus helpful local guidebooks and a funky old record player (with excellent records!). It’s right on Main Street near all the restaurants and shops but still affords plenty of room for privacy and quiet. Best of all, Wallowa Lake and miles of hiking in the Eagle Cap Wilderness are just a 10-minute drive away! Mavis was a wonderfully responsive host who got back to me right away. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. I highly recommend Mavis’s charming spot to anyone traveling to Joseph!

This place was very big and extremely clean. We felt right at home! This was exactly what we needed for our weekend get away. Plenty of space to all hang out together and private with beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth the price! We will use this property hopefully every year for our trip there.

As much as I’d love to gatekeep this home for myself, everyone should know how amazing this place is. We have been to Wallowa Lake quite a few times and this is our favorite pet friendly rental. Lia was a wonderful host and helped make our stay a memorable one. She was very responsive and had the best recommendations for activities, hikes and places to eat around town. The home was clean and spacious (there was more than enough room for my large family), the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to chef it up, the kids area was perfect for my 2 littles, there are 2 large decks that over look the lake and was great for watching the sunrise and hanging out, my kids loved the soaking tubs on the bottom deck and it has its own private dock that is accessible from the home. This lakefront home is truly a magical oasis. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this is it!! We will continue to come out year after year.

This was an amazing place. Exceeded our expectations. Cindy the host was fantastic and very good to work with. I would recommend this plan as a 10 out of 10. It's private, the home and grounds are fantastic and the river and suroundings are so peaceful and nice. I highly recommend!

Amanda’s home was perfect for what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice backyard, well stocked kitchen, and cozy rooms. The house has been remolded and feels like the perfect mountain getaway. Definitely would stay again!

Our stay at Diane's home in Joseph was wonderful! I have stayed in many Airbnb's and this was truly one of the best. The star of the show is the stunning lake and mountain view throughout the home!! It was also immaculately clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay including a well stocked kitchen. Diane was a fantastic host. Very responsive whenever we reached out to her. I highly recommend her home and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Joseph.

This was a lovely spot to stay right in the middle of the walkable part of Enterprise, where most restaurants and shops are located. The location is above street level with a view over the downtown buildings to the mountains. It was bright, clean, private, and spacious, with everything I needed in the kitchen for my little trip.

Perfect spot to stay for our weekend trip. Shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Comfortably fit 3 guests and we loved that we each got our own bed. Cute little spot, we’ll definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful apartment on the main drag in Enterprise. We were able to walk to coffee in the morning and check out a nice bookstore. Hiking trails and Terminal Gravity brewing are a short drive away. Highly recommend!

The Aspen is nestled in the beautiful town of Joseph at the base of the Wallowa mountains. The view alone makes it worth the stay, but the proximity to all Joseph has to offer is awesome. The space was unique, clean and incredibly comfortable for our quick stop. I look forward to returning for a longer getaway soon!

Was beautiful place spacious with balcony to have coffee on in morning. Sugar time bakery just downstairs for breakfast we would definitely stay there again. Thanks for the wonderful time Laurie and Paul From Seattle

the space was perfect for us. it was easy to walk to town and trails. was at base of Wallowa lake and a short drive up to it. kitchen had everything we needed. they left a delightful welcome basket. we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great weekend staying at our Eagle Cap vacation rental. Todd was communicative and friendly. We had an issue with our smoke alarm’s battery getting low, but Todd was over to fix it before it started the noisy chirping. And despite being pet friendly, the home was very clean with no visible pet hair left when we stayed. We would definitely stay with them again!

Immaculate, fun, functional space. Probably my favorite Airbnb ever. Loved the personality, but it also lives easy. And the sauna? Amazing. Loved the stay, would be worth visiting Enterprise for the accommodation alone.

I have stayed here twice and will do it again! The space is beyond perfection. Todd was super accommodating to all of our needs.

Loved our stay in the Sawtooth room. Very comfy bed and fun decor. Easy, short drive to the Eagle Cap Wilderness area and many cute restaurants here and in Joseph. Would definitely stay here again and try some of the other themed rooms. Only comment is that the walls are a bit thin; however, we had considerate neighbors who turned off the TV and were quiet by 10 every night so it wasn’t an issue.

The room was exactly as described on the website, both inside and out. Good value for the money and a short walk from downtown.
