Even though the Wallowa River is in earshot of the cabin, there is an area of natural grass giving the impression of a barrier which is perfect for those more timid littles to want to stay in the yard until you are ready to take them to the water. The church is nestled in the small town of Elgin Oregon. There are bakeries, restaurants and shops for your enjoyment. Some of the attractions are the Elgin Oregon train station they offer a variety of tours. We are an 1:15 minute drive to the tramway in Joseph. Hells Canyon is an awesome sight.

This Troy, OR real log cabin (not in Enterprise) is located West down Bartlett Road, past the row of mailboxes on your left, and forward. The cabin has two bedrooms (one upstairs in the loft), a kitchen, laundry, porch, and outdoor space for tents, games, kids and dogs. Private access to the Wenaha River is behind the cabin. The Grande Ronde River is also a short walk or drive away. There is no restaurant or fuel available for purchase in Troy.
