Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Wallowa County

We had a wonderful time at the listing. The host was responsive, the home was beautiful and our first night it snowed. It was so magical watching the snow come in over the lake while sitting across from the fireplace. We were astounded by the craftsmanship that went into the home as well. We look forward to coming in the summer and enjoying the outdoor activities too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved staying in this home. Had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Our host was very accommodating to some specific needs and we felt this place was a great value. We loved having a yard with deck and fire pit to hang out and our host takes pride in the outdoor environment with beautiful Flowers and herbs. This translated to an additional space we had not really expected but thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms, beds, bathrooms all well set up and very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a peaceful getaway here! Loved that we could walk everywhere in town from the house. it was old and quaint and cozy.

I simply loved the beautiful location next to a rushing river. Lots of trees and a perfect table for picnics and so private. Felt like home….. Thank you

I was in this area for a memorial service and my plans were tentative at best for the entire weekend. Stacy so kindly worked with me as the family’s plans changed, and my plans changed, and it could not have been a better arrangement. The gorgeous historic home felt so cozy as soon as you walked in. I stayed in the king sized bedroom with the in-room bathroom. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and there was plenty of room to unwind and relax. This was a much needed respite in such a stunningly beautiful area!

The house is very clean and well equipped. The backyard is a bird haven. They were great to watch. Also, in the winter you have a lovely view of the mountains which you wouldn’t have in the summer with the trees. Unfortunately, we love to warm our backs to a fireplace and not their fault it had stopped working and because of the holiday it couldn’t be serviced. The back rooms were a bit chilly at night except the main one with the heater. Overall, my biggest guide on a house is whether it is clean and has an equipped kitchen, soft sheets, etc. and it definitely did! Thank you for our stay.

The house could use some work since it's settling in front and the doors a bit hard to close. Also one of the backrooms had an unfinished drywall ceiling since the drop ceiling has been removed but still everything worked fine for us and the view and location across the street from the lake are hard to beat! We had a wonderful time!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and the glamping experience was like nothing we have ever experienced! We both enjoy camping and the outdoors so the tent with electricity and a real bed was a plus! The area was exactly as the pictures showed with a rustic outdoor shower and homemade bathroom with a tent cover. The property was beautiful and quiet and just a short drive to Joseph. I would highly recommend!!!

This lakefront house was perfect for our long weekend. We rented this and another Vacasa home just a few doors down and both homes were exactly what we needed. The view from the deck was perfect from sunrise to sunset and the neighboring homes had friendly visitors. We had one dog who navigated the stairs fine in this home and we appreciated the ability to block the deck exits so he could stay confined with us while we enjoyed meals on the deck. The dock worked well for our boats and the fishing was fantastic. We absolutely would stay in this home again.

The place was very clean and well equipped. We were traveling with another couple so we had our dogs with us. Appreciated that they embraced travelers with pets. Even left treats and a toy for them. Very thoughtful. Location was between the park/boat launch and downtown.

Great little cabin with everything one would need to relax and enjoy the area for a few days! Shower was a little small but amazing pressure so no complaints there. Close enough to the lake we could walk to plus all the other little attractions and shops in the area.

The apartment is comfortable, clean, and modernized. We had everything we needed and appreciated the little extras through out.

We had a great stay. Loved sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and enjoying the beautiful river and surroundings. It was comfortable and clean and how they great cabin feel to it.

The day before we were originally supposed to check in my husband suffered a medical emergency and we were forced to cancel our trip. Jeff graciously honored our reservation and allowed us to reschedule at a later time that suited us. Most rental entities would have either told us sorry that is too bad or maybe refunded a portion of the reservation. To us, Jeff's actions spoke volumes about his character and really took the pressure off us during an already difficult time. Once we were able to finally reschedule, WE HAD A BLAST!! The cabin was so cozy, clean and very well laid out. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and it truly was a home away from home. The location was perfect...quiet enough to enjoy all that nature has to offer and also close enough to restaurants, grocery store, sight seeing opportunities, etc. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We would love to visit again!!

Our stay was fantastic! We had everything we needed, and the host was quick to respond when we had questions. There were amazing mountain views from literally every window in the house, and it was so nice to relax in the hot tub and watch the deer wander around in the snow. We definitely want to come back here again!

As much as I’d love to gatekeep this home for myself, everyone should know how amazing this place is. We have been to Wallowa Lake quite a few times and this is our favorite pet friendly rental. Lia was a wonderful host and helped make our stay a memorable one. She was very responsive and had the best recommendations for activities, hikes and places to eat around town. The home was clean and spacious (there was more than enough room for my large family), the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to chef it up, the kids area was perfect for my 2 littles, there are 2 large decks that over look the lake and was great for watching the sunrise and hanging out, my kids loved the soaking tubs on the bottom deck and it has its own private dock that is accessible from the home. This lakefront home is truly a magical oasis. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and recharge, this is it!! We will continue to come out year after year.
