Captain’s Cottage is a 3 bedroom one bathroom furnished cottage located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Ione. A few blocks away (5 minute walk) is the town of Ione. It features a laundromat, general store, pizza , brewery, coffee shop, and restaurants. Locally we have wineries, flowerfarm,caves,gold mining, theater,antiques fishing & boating. Nearby is Plymouth, Jackson, and Sutter Creek . Our own captain loves Lake Amador, Lake Pardee and Lake Camanche all located here in Ione.

We're having gorgeous summer weather here in Amador County! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If you're visiting both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe on your travel journeys, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 and 1/2 from Tahoe)

The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft from room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft.
