House vacation rentals in Waldeck

We stayed with our friends for the weekend. Combined we had 4 children. It was great for the kids playing outside and they had a great time. Highly recommended! Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Waldhaus. I don't think I've ever been in an Airbnb with better amenities. Communication was nice and easy. The sauna area is very nice and it is a real highlight to be able to go from it to the garden to the fire bowl. With a beautiful high-quality pool billiard table and an outdoor dartboard, we had great entertainment - but we also simply enjoyed the large balcony and the surroundings. We will be happy to come back.

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

It was the best we've experienced as a group so far. There is so much to discover in the entire complex. Everything has been decorated with an attention to detail. Everyone was super super friendly. The restaurant and wellness area are absolutely amazing.

We spent an extended weekend with 13 people in this beautiful cottage. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and above all the children were super satisfied and could play in the beautiful garden with the toys. The creek in particular was a highlight. We will be happy to come back.

Great oasis for a few days with friends or family. Plenty of space for everyone and especially the garden is a great treasure! If you like it quiet and rural, this is the place to be.

Quiet location to relax

The house was as described. Communication in advance was great, we already knew exactly what to expect. Check-in went smoothly. The play barn and playroom were also very attractive to us. In the area you could do a lot of business, and there was information in advance. Lots of opportunities to sit outside. In short, we felt comfortable at the place and can recommend it.

We wanted absolute peace and a retreat just for us. We found all this in the beautiful forest edge house. It is really in a completely secluded location, the nearest houses are several hundred meters away. Rarely do people walk along a forest path about 100 m next to the house, then you can sometimes hear human voices or horses and dogs, sometimes tractors drive or you can hear forestry work. 90% to 95% of the time we spent there, however, it was really quiet and we could enjoy this wonderful peace that we longed for. The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail, very clean and you can feel right at home there. The furnishings are very high quality overall and nothing is missing. We especially liked the tiled stove in the living room in front of which you can cuddle in the evening. To the rear, the house has a magnificent view over the fields. It's an absolute dream house! We will be happy to come back.

Very nice place to stay, the train station is a 5-minute walk away. Right next door is a beverage market, which is open until 8 pm. From the property it is possible to make an art hike. The Ratskeller, a great restaurant, is within walking distance. The perfect place to stay for a nice family weekend!

Beautiful stylish house with great property located by a stream. No unnecessary frills, but everything you need. We felt very comfortable. However, you should inquire whether an event is planned at the neighboring community square. The shooting festival on the last evening is only a stone's throw away, but you can't get to sleep before 3:00 am.

We had a great family reunion with 17 adults and 3 children. Everything worked out: the rooms were very nicely decorated and sparkling clean. The amenities are new. The children could play in the courtyard and on the adjacent meadow, while the adults could sit on the terrace. The surroundings also invite you to various activities. We felt very comfortable!

The whole stay was great. Place was as described. With two people, the apartment would have been too cramped for me personally, but completely sufficient as a solo traveler.

Kathrin and Julia were very nice, helpful and quick to reach if you have any questions. The villa is really great, huge and the garden around it is super beautiful!

Great place to stay in beautiful rural area. The host was super friendly and helpful. We traveled with two small children and the place was suitable for them.

We (2 adults and 1 toddler) spent a few days at Lake Edersee and enjoyed staying with Gerhard very much. The apartment is very cozy and spacious and offers a wonderful view of Waldeck Castle. Gerhard and his wife were always approachable for us, extremely friendly and helpful. Highlight (especially with toddler) was the massage chair we liked to use. The lake is not in the immediate vicinity, but is also easily accessible by bus and the Waldecker Geckobahn.

We were in Vöhl for an extended weekend and the apartment was perfect. New and very clean, friendly hosts, we felt very comfortable (...and passed our sailing license on Lake Edersee). The kids loved the net and right around the corner is an Edeka very convenient to reach. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

I am so grateful that I was able to stay with Hannelore on such short notice. She welcomes you with a warmth and kindness that you can feel comfortable from the beginning. A very well-equipped house with plenty of room for 8 people and two dogs. We enjoyed the large kitchen and extensive kitchen equipment very much. The play facilities were also used extensively. Only the many steps to the entrance of the house were a bit problematic for my old dog. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Thomas’s place is located in the quiet countryside not too far away from a major city. The place was nice and tidy. The host was very responsive and polite. Thank you for a nice stay.

Hansi is very personable, explained everything to us directly. We stayed there for 4 nights and we were more than satisfied. The house was very nicely equipped and everything was clean. You just have to bring your own bed linen and towels. I can recommend this house to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball track and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

A beautiful house with atmosphere in the middle of the beautiful city of Büren. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and felt very comfortable. You can go for a great walk.
