Amazing views of rolling countryside, and Maungatautari mountain. 2 mins to Lake Karapiro 12 mins to Cambridge Hicks road house is on our family farm. The property is perfect for rowing groups, plently of room on the front lawn for tents. Please note, I have two cats that live on the property. Guest studio overlooking farmland with all day birdsong. 30 minutes to Raglan either by state highway 27 or take the picturesque drive over Fillery road. 25 Minutes to Hamilton and 20 Minutes to Pirongia Village. Pirongia Mountain access within 10 minutes and several walkways right on our doorstep. Breakfast (cereal and toast,juice & great coffee) is provided. Seasonal farm grown fruit too. Vijay place wasn’t top end but definitely wasn’t bottom end! For the price you pay you get exactly what you want and if not more from Vijay and it’s very easy access walking to and from the city centre and Vijay was often on hand to help us with car rides to and from! He also picked us up from the airport and cooked us dinner and breakfast everyday! Thanks Vijay was a great 4 nights!

Briony was a very welcoming host, she left us fresh eggs, juice, bread and milk. Her partner (apologies I have forgotten his name) provided tools to tighten up the wing mirror on my bike. The property is loverly and really conveniently placed if you are planning on visiting the Hobbiton movie set.
