Family-friendly vacation rentals in Waikiki, Honolulu

It's been a very pleasant stay at Young's place. Young is a very welcoming, friendly, responsive and helping host. Location of the apartment is super convenient, within walking distance to Waikiki beach, International Market mall, supermarkets, and bus stops which take you to many attractions. The apartment is well maintained, well equipped and clean, not to mention the beds are super comfortable, too! We would certainly stay again for our next trip to Hawaii. Mahalo~

The unit was located right at the elevators, and very quiet considering the location. The Hotel was at the east end of Waikiki which was perfect for us! Having a large parking garage was also a plus and we always found a stall. All the amenities the unit has to offer was amazing. The view of Diamond Head every morning was breathtaking! The only setback was the pool area was being refurbished and the construction work started at an early time. Which we know is temporary. I would recommend staying there to anyone. Can’t wait to come back to stay there again!

Location was great, easy access to major locations in Honolulu, Waikiki, and hikes like Diamond Head and Koko crater. Highly recommend if you want to stay near Waikiki.

Excellent location and great apartment! The space was updated and very clean. We especially appreciated all of the items available for use: beach chairs, kids beach toys, pack and play, cookware, knives and cutting board, etc. The closest beach is just a block away and perfect for small kids- it was shallow and had a sea wall to keep the stronger waves out. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Only few blocks to beach. The Bus stop is across from the hotel. Only few blocks from International Market Place, Waikiki Market & Target. The unit is perfect for couple or solo traveler. I appreciated there was a reasonable priced washer/dryer on the same floor. Looking forward to my next visit.

The location was very convenient, within walking distance of the beach and a fantastic view from the apartment. The apartment is a bit small but it really had everything we needed. Communication with Eva went very well and neatly and she even offered us to be able to enter the apartment earlier which was very pleasant after a long flight. What was a very big plus is that the building is equipped with all kinds of extra amenities,including a gym, swimming pool with hot tub and laundry room. The only thing that might be worth mentioning is that you have to be careful with children because it is on the 30th floor and the windows have no security. We had a very pleasant stay.

Great location, with beautiful view of diamond head and the beach. Everything you could need is in walking distance. Teddy's burgers in the lobby was a fantastic place to eat with great food.

Kenny was a great host for our stay. His instructions really helped in checking in. He also provided extra towels and beach stuff . we really loved the view from our bedroom. Would definitely come back next time .

I absolutely loved staying here! The space was perfect for me as I so enjoyed the balcony view of both Diamond Head and Waikīkī Beach. I would use this spot again if returning to Oahu!

It was near a lot of things , convenient walkable to the beach Nice balcony view of the mountains and the ocean Liked the fact that extra things were provided such as beach chairs etc No complaints

We had a fantastic stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everyone says it’s just a short walk from the beach with a great view but you don’t realize the proximity until you’re there. Just beautiful! Bed was super comfy and clean. Plenty of mirrors & air conditioning worked great. Lots of little amenities like a boogie board and Keurig, utensils, etc. Bar on the second floor, amazing açaí bowls around the corner, flamingos across the street, I mean, what more can you ask for? We loved it!

I had a great stay at this studio apartment in Honolulu! The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, plus the ABC convenience store for any quick needs. The apartment was clean, welcoming, and had a large, comfortable bed which made it feel like home. The highlight of the stay was definitely the view. The sunrises and sunsets from the apartment were beautiful, and I especially loved enjoying them on the 10th-floor terrace, where I had dinner out there multiple times—what a great spot!. The zoo was directly across the street, which was perfect for a visit with my grandson. We also rented scooters just a minute away, making it easy to get around. As for the cons, there was some street noise due to the sliding glass door facing a busy street, but it quieted down in the evenings. My stay here added to my overall great visit to Hawaii.

Beautiful condo and everything was very clean and fresh. Close to everything. Bonus for free parking with added beach chairs and umbrella. Very happy with our stay and will for sure stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Loved staying here we had our 18 month old with us and it was the perfect amount of space and nice to have a small fridge/freezer to save on eating out every meal! Very clean upon arrival great location food trucks right across the street were our go to’s! Walkable distance to downtown restaurants and shops. We loved our stay and definitely will be back in the future!

Ideal for those who want to stay in the center of the action in heart of Waikiki, bustling downtown-like part of Oahu. Bed and pillow was very comfy, nice to have AC and fan in addition to electric stovetop for cooking meals. Appreciated the filtered water station in lobby. Wouldn’t recommend having a car in this area as it’s mostly walkable, hotel increased parking to 37/day. For those who are afraid of bugs, some tiny ants 🐜 come out of cracks in the wall and crevices on counter top just heads up.

Place was clean and comfortable. The room got a beautiful view and host was very prompt and helpful. I would definitely come back again if the opportunity presents itself. I had a wonderful stay.

Superb view and fabulous apartment ! Crazy near to the ONLY Mall in the city And super near to bus stop .... for buses to airpirt and town center. So its convenient! But a far from waikiki though .. John

This was my second stay at Shigeko’s place - this time for 2 weeks duration. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised at some of the updates since my last stay. The listing photos should be updated as they don’t look as good as the apartment does in real life. The bed was super comfortable and everything was neat and clean. The only thing not working was one of the cooktop burners but I only used the cooktop once anyway to make noodles in a saucepan so it didn’t bother me as there was still one functional burner to use. I had an issue with logging in to the in-room wifi but I messaged Shigeko and she replied instantly and I was able to log in from then. Shigeko is always easily contactable and responds quickly, she’s lovely ☺️ The Waikiki Grand is in a great location which makes this an awesome place to stay, I definitely recommend!
