Vacation rentals with a patio in Waiheke Island

** Christmas break ** 23/12/24 - 26/12/24) Family of 6 (2 Adults, 3 teens & a toddler) This self-contained apartment exceeded our expectations with its comfort, cleanliness, and spaciousness. We were delighted to cancel our restaurant reservations and cook a Christmas dinner in, taking advantage of the stunning views from the living room, dining room, and bedroom. The apartment's location is perfect, with Too Fat Buns and Ocean View Cafe right downstairs, a Four Square across the road, and numerous restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk. Big Oneroa beach is just a 10-minute walk away, and the absence of a car is no issue with buses readily available to and from the ferry terminals. Thank you so much for creating an unforgettable lifetime experience for my family, our first Christmas away from home. This is a very nice little self-contained flat with easy access to the beach and to Howick village and shops etc. Hayley was very helpful throughout our stay.

Spacious, Spotless, and Thoughtfully Designed Stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We absolutely enjoyed our time at this well-thought-out apartment, located on the ground floor of the main house. The space was squeaky clean—inside and out—and beautifully maintained, which made us feel instantly at home. We were greeted with thoughtful touches like treats, coffee, and tea, and truly appreciated the early check-in offered due to our early arrival. The apartment itself is spacious, light, and airy, perfect for relaxing after a day out. There’s a lovely backyard with a table to sit and unwind, although we didn’t get a chance to use it during our stay. While there's no parking on the property, we easily found street parking right outside the gate. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance, which was a bonus. Overall, a wonderful and welcoming stay—would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient base!

Located close to beaches, forests, and wineries this is an ideal accommodation with very congenial hosts. The unit is immaculately clean and fresh looking and makes the most of a small space for breakfast prep. Honestly, she’s thought of almost everything you could need. Lauren provided info on nearby hiking and stores and restaurants when I had specific interests. We even shared a walk with her dog Molly one morning to nearby beaches I had yet to visit. There are lots of hills around, even the driveway is quite steep, so best to have a car if you’re not reasonably fit and don’t enjoy that type of exercise. Coming home at night, it’s quite dark near the house, but she provides a flashlight or you could use your mobile flashlight.. Overall, a wonderful stay, lots of fresh air, exercise, beautiful nature, peaceful environment in a very comfortable apartment. Thank you Lauren. I would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again..

My parents stayed at Brendon’s and Jayne’s unit for the first 10 days visiting Auckland. What can is say - AMAZING! Communication has been amazing throughout the days and Brendon always checked in if anything is needed it if any questions came up. I felt so good leaving my parents at his peaceful and private unit. Also the pool was definitely a perfect addition :) My parents felt very well looked after and loved everything! Thank you Brendon and Jayne :)

Well appointed home, located a short walk to the beach in one direction and the quaint Howick Village in the other. Well hosted and clean. large space for for pets too.

Great stay at Winnie’s place in remuera - plenty of space for the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids). Nice and quiet area but handy to Auckland activities. Winnie was a proactive and responsive host. Highly recommended!

Great place. Nice location by the coast and close to the city. Good layout, hot tub and decor. The only comment is an extra bathroom would be good.

A fantastic stay with my family, the house had everything that we needed and more. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and curated - this place was a amazing! We felt very well looked after with Jess providing us an early check in which was very appreciated - highly recommend! We spent the days checking out Waiheke, and the evenings at Drift unwinding and relaxing, it couldn't have been more perfect. P.S. If you are travelling with a little one - be prepared to be watching them vigilantly so as not to stain the white couch with their little fingers... thank goodness for the two draws of kids toys to keep them entertained!

Absolutely beautiful house for our NZ visit. Plenty of space for us with an amazing outdoor relaxation area. Kitchen was well stocked and the place instantly felt like a home. Highly recommend!!

Our family of 4 had a great holiday in Auckland at Jon's place. The place was located quite centrally and within walking distance to Britomart and Wynyard Quarters. The place was spotless clean and had everything you could possible need. There were loads of amenities and bathroom basics. There were kitchen basics, coffee machine and snacks which was a very nice touch from Job. Best of all there we games and toys for the kids. The apartment is secure with ample parking and is right next to the park and grocery stores. It can get quite loud as it is on the main st when the windows are open esp on weekends which you need in the main living room and downstairs rooms because it doesn't have aircon but it was ok for us as the temp was coming down but it did get quite warm on some nights without aircon downstairs. Jon is an excellent host, very helpful, responsive and attentive. We felt right at home and would def stay here again if we come back to Auckland :) highly recommended

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Great location close to everything but still peaceful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The location of the air bnb is right next to the harbor area and many things are within walking distance. This was a great location, clean and the host was so easy to work with. I would rent this unit again and I highly recommend it to others.
