Beachfront vacation rentals in Waiheke Island

As a family of 4 including our small dog, we felt at home, loved being on the Matarangi golf course, lake views and easy walkable beach access We made use of the two Trek bikes at the property as well exploring the area. Fully equipped clean kitchen as well as clean bathrooms and linen. The bedrooms are private offering a clever layout throughout. Thanks once again for having us for a short getaway.

I have stayed in this building frequently and this is one of the best apartments that I have enjoyed here. The host was fantastic, she went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and convenient. The location is superb, with the best of Auckland at your doorstep. Highly recommended!

Absolutely gorgeous view! Beds were nicely made with mints and stuffed animals for the kids.

Peaceful getaway with the best view! Roimata made us a warm loaf of homemade wholemeal bread! Bonus was being able to bring our puppy along! 🐶 Perfect spot to relax 😌

Had a lovely stay at Kathy’s place. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and really enjoyed the view from the dining area. Kathy was very helpful and kind. Weather had us changing plans but hope to come back in the future!

It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.

The host was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The place itself was spacious, clean, and tidy - everything I could ask for in an Airbnb. The amenities were top-notch, and the decor was modern and stylish. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. The location was also perfect - with nearby transport available, it was easy to explore the surrounding area. We had an awesome time at the Beachside Bliss. Everything was just WOW. Ian made us feel right at home. The layout of the place is so kids friendly and safe. Great value for money, we didn’t have much time and were just passing through the region. For us it was perfect for the night. Nice sunset! A bit warm, but the fan helped in managing that. It fitted perfectly for me (I am 1m83), but if you’re taller then that you’re too tall. They did mention it. Btw, it says no kitchen, but there is a communal one on the park.

Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay, super clean, beautiful location

Nice room in the lodge. Dishes, silverware and cooking utensils are available for lodge guests. The pool is clean and warm, the kids loved it. 😄 The proximity to the beach is wonderful. The space itself is clean and tidy. Clear recommendation from me!

Nice view and fun glamping pod experience. Slightly close to the next pods but overall would recommend!

Due to a mistake with Airbnb, I had to check out later than expected but Gali was more than welcoming and accommodating. A kind, friendly and interesting host. Great location to walk down to the beach, or just hang out on the balcony and take in the views. Gorgeous, can’t wait to come back.

We loved the amazing views, which we enjoyed from the deck and from most windows in the house. Comfortable beds, spacious living areas and great functional kitchen rounded out an excellent property.

Such a beautiful home and the most amazing views, the house was also a lot bigger than we expected! We really enjoyed our weekend here it was very relaxing and Alister was super friendly and very accommodating! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area again. Thanks Alister! :)

We enjoyed our stay at Fred's Place . It was in a great location a lovely well equipped unit . There is a lovely private courtyard . Fred provided extra touches including breakfast ingredients and hot cross buns . Would definitely recommend staying there .

David’s place was warm and homely. He was a very responsive and flexible host allowing us to push our booking back a day when our travel plans were impacted by the cyclone. Tidy house in a great location. I missed having a washing machine as my kids go through heaps of clothes every day however I believe guests can use the washing machine in the garage if you are staying for more than a few days.

Tina and I love that Mariette said hi and made sure we got in OK. The place was an amazing break for our busy lives running gyms. We loved it so much that we do want to come again soon. thanks again!

We loved the bay view with gorgeous early morning lighting and sunset lighting and beautiful sailboats anchored in the bay. We saw dolphins swimming across the bay from the deck. Shelly Beach was lovely, and shelly. We enjoyed our hikes and the local wineries. Sue could not have been more helpful to us. We'll be back!

Highly recommend staying at Rosie's home. It is located at the top of a peninsula, surrounded by lovely homes with ocean views and lush native bush. So quiet and private. The hot tub was a real treat. Had all the amenities one needs for cooking and a great outdoor table for enjoying leisurely meals. Very easy walk down a track to Palm Beach, Arcadia, cafe, bottle store and bus stop.

This is THE best location in Auckland. The beach is in front of your home. The apartment is cheerful with loads of light. The beds were very comfortable & the sheets were an excellent crispy cotton.
