Villa vacation rentals in Wadduwa

We were a family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) staying overnight at Chandana's place before heading out to Bentota next day noon. We arrived around 9:45 PM tired and weary, but were welcomed by the warm home of Padmi and Chandana. They had cooked some amazing hot dinner for us which we wolfed down. Their house is very contemporary and comfortable, and we all slept well. The rooms and the house is very clean with all the necessary amenities - whether you are renting the whole house or individual rooms. It is also in a quiet neighborhood and we woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. Definitely a place we will consider when we visit Colombo next.

The place is quiet, convenient and offers an amazing outdoor space - the decent size pool is clean and well-lit in the evenings, there's a great pool house you can chill in/by, and you can literally take walks around the yard, it's that big. It's also an amazing opportunity to observe some of the local wildlife from the comfort of your sunbed or the patio - we saw a number of colourful birds, monkeys, squirrels, and komodos. The breakfast was generous and VERY tasty, and a great opportunity to try some local food (e.g., sambol, chicken curry, lentil/dhal curry, rotti) alongside your standard Western breakfast options. The villa caretakers are the sweetest people - attentive, kind, and ready to help with absolutely anything and everything! They looked after us and made sure we had a great time at the villa. For us, that made a massive difference, and if we're ever back in Colombo, we would be returning to the Temple Pond Villa.

Hikkaduwa - Southwest Beach Town in Sri Lanka! The welcome by Lasantha & Madhu was incredible. I'm amazed by their Hospitality. Nomad Nest has a stunning architectural design. Natural Sunlight throughout the property, with a swimming pool & Car Parking space, lot of amenities with a pvt digital assistant (Siri) & yes a PS5 too. Lot of good places to eat around too. You can self drive to the other coast towns. Host was kind enough to arrange the same. All I say is.. if you have a wonderful host, then you are sorted.

The house is amazing, the photos don't do it justice. It is far bigger than it looked in the pictures. The manager Manoji is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning and he also did us a dinner one night which was the nicest meal we'd eaten in Sri Lanka, and the cost was very reasonable. He was always on hand if we needed anything. There's also a night watchman that stays in the grounds every night. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach and the main road. The road to the house is quite narrow so be warned if you have a wide car!

We have just got home after our trip to the Tropical Beach House in Hikkaduwa. What a totally lovely time away. Great communication with Gavin prior to the visit and out in touch with Darmith (house keeper) and taxi transport for arrival. We arrived at 2am to be met by Darmith and Saji (security) and felt at home straight away. Darmith had collected fridge essentials before we arrived so we were set up for the following morning. The house and gardens are lovely, the sound of the ocean 24/7 is just perfect and the house was spotlessly clean with good facilities. Sangrita helped to provide us with Sri Lankan breakfast foods, loved the Dahl curry and the hoppers but also gave us an awesome Brit breakfast of eggs and bacon! Chandra was on hand at night to cook a bbq which was tasty and varied. We used Tuk tuks to get out and about during our stay which were easy to find. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Lots of local bars and eateries along the beach or further into Hikkaduwa.

Where do I even begin? From the start, Hasitha made us feel we’d chosen the perfect stay. Responsive, kind, and accommodating, he provided excellent tips on what to do, see, and eat. The property itself felt like a warm hug. Surrounded by lush paddy fields, a lotus pond, and vibrant greenery, it offered breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. 🌻 The design combines comfort and charm, with spacious rooms, an efficient kitchen, and thoughtful touches like a washing machine. Mornings were magical—waking to birdsong and the golden glow of sunrise over the fields. Evenings, with fiery sunsets and calm breezes, were equally enchanting. The caretaker added to the experience with warm smiles and traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. Hasitha even arranged a visit to his brother’s tea plantation—a memorable highlight. Two days weren’t enough. This wasn’t just a stay; it was a soul-refreshing experience we’ll always treasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and authenticity ❤️✨

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Hikkaduwa! Lalith was fantastic right from the start—super responsive, helpful, and made sure all our requests were taken care of before our arrival. When we got there, we were warmly welcomed by Wasantha, who was always smiling and clearly explained everything about the villa. He made sure we had everything we needed and was always just a phone call away. We came as a large group—10 adults and 4 kids—and the villa was absolutely perfect for us. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable, and we loved the open-plan kitchen on the ground floor. It was equipped with top-notch appliances and being right next to the pool made it even better. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return. Highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Hikkaduwa!

This house is idyllic. It’s right by the beach, absolutely beautiful location. It was clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean, good shower pressure. Shani was an amazing host. She responded quickly to any questions (we had a lot) and was extremely pleasant and obliging. Food costs extra but was delicious.

Our stay at Wigis villa was wonderful. The villa itself is located in a perfect spot allowing you immediate access to the beach as well as the Main Street with all its cafes, shops and restaurants, on the other side. The villa is a haven of tranquility, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the town. Inside, the house is fully equipped and very well kept. The garden was beautiful and our children had many hours of fun in the lovely pool. Lastly what really made it great was the excellent team on hand. The team prepared beautiful breakfasts each day, together with lunch and dinners on request. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back!

Fabulous location for a pit stop and views are amazing. The food was delicious, staff attentive and we stayed as a group and we all enjoyed it. Note bring mosquito repellent for the evenings if you wish to stay out:)

Staying at the MO River House was an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived, we were swept off our feet by the villa's charm. The dreamy rooms and luxurious bathrooms were incredible. The lake views from both decks were mesmerizing, and we spent hours enjoying them. The hospitality was top-notch, with the host offering great tips and the staff ensuring our comfort. They provided everything we needed, from canoes for the lake to directions to the nearby beach. The location was perfect for exploring. The Sri Lankan dishes prepared by the chef were excellent and perfectly complemented our stay. Overall, our stay at MO River House was unforgettable.

We had a great time staying at the villa. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The breakfast was good, generous and served flexibly whenever we were ready. The garden and the pool are really pretty. Rohan was so accommodating and amazingly helpful with organizing transport and everything else we needed. The two dogs are really cute, especially goofy Mario. All in all I can really recommend staying at the villa, especially if you want to relax with a group of friends or family.

Hello all travelers. If you are looking for well-being, comfort, peace and entertainment literally just a few steps away, don't hesitate and come here. Breakfast with a view of the wild ocean, where you can have a great time and forget all your worries. The villa offers all food at any time, but you can buy food about 50 meters away in the market and leave it to the wonderful host and his team, who will arrange literally everything you ask for. So an ideal choice for a group of friends. It is a little more expensive, but if it can be taken that way because everything here is at prices that are still more than good. If you are planning a trip, the prices are very similar everywhere and here they will arrange any trip you can think of at prices like anywhere else in the area. If you are traveling with a backpack, go somewhere else here, it is associated with better quality and I recommend taking the whole place so that you have privacy, which I think is the most important thing th

Great place to stay as a group or family in Wadduwa, the spaces and huge with a big pool and direct beach access. The staff were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home, the food prepared for us was some of the best Sri Lankan food we ate during our stay!

We had an amazing stay! We are a family of 6 and we had 10 days in Sri Lanka, finalising with 3 days in this top Summer villa. Having 3 staff at our service was a nice add on and made our stay so much easier! Dimension of the rooms and the view were perfect! Pool was great, meals also and cleaning was spot on.

The Silver Ferns Villa is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming villa. It is situated close to most of the tourist attractions in the Hikkaduwa. There are many lovely restaurants and bars nearby. But you can’t hear the noise of the streets since the villa is located in a tranquil neighborhood. Dr. Eric and Ganesan were very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when they welcomed us. Looking forward to staying again soon!

We made a last-minute booking, but everything was very well organized. Podi communicated excellently and provided a clear and detailed description of the place upon our arrival. We especially loved the kitchen and its well-equipped setup, and we truly enjoyed the space as if it were our own home. Highly recommended for long stays and groups!

WOW, This is the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. the moment the gates opened we was greeted by chandana, priyantha and malani. a much needed welcome after the long journey. A refreshment and cold towel, was given to us by malani. The villa itself made even more special by these three Amazing people. The gardens are just the most stunning scenery pure bliss, the sounds of the wildlife inside and the surroundings are just amazing. Priyantha attends every morning and evening to clean the pool and surrounding garden the month we went was when the leafs fell from the tree he worked tirelessly everyday am and pm to assure the lawns was clear “for the children to play” he also took us to hikkaduwa most evenings, we would what’s app him and he would come and collect us. Malani also worked tirelessly cleaning the villa everyday and on 3 occasions brining in breakfast for us. Chandana Went above and beyond we went on 3 excursions with him. One of the nicest people ever.

Hikka Villas Is an exceptional villa. We were enjoyed very much. We were 2 families with 4 children. We have nothing to complain. Staff is very polite , doing the necessary cleaning appropriately, bravo! Chanaka and team hope they keep good work continuously. We visited adjoining other villas belongs to them they all very nice and clean too , definitely we will be return to Hikka villas. Good luck and thank you!

The place is great! We've been there for several days working and chilling and all went well. The place is aside of the road so you'll be able to switch gears without noise or touristic places. The house is comfortable with everything necessary in place, the pool is clean and deep enough to dive in during the hot day. The host Chris was nice and even showed us places around and his garden – thank you very much for comfortable stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Plantation house! Great communication from Glenda and Ingrainia and Madu made us very welcome and looked after us so well. The pool was pristine and a perfect cool down after a hot day. Close to lots of restaurants and easy to get to attractions either by tuk tuk or train. Hikkaduwa and turtle beach very friendly and plenty of good restaurants even in low season!

Best villa in Bolgoda area! Thank you for the fantastic service provided during our stay. The villa is a masterpiece of elegance, boasting spacious rooms, modern amenities, and exquisite decor. We were unable to find the location when we got there but Anill(Care Taker) was really helpful he literally came to where we were and guided us. Sri Lankan Breakfast was brilliant. I was travelling solo to Sri Lanka to rest and to write. I could not have imagined my luck in finding Soul Villa. The house is extraordinary. Sleeps 8: 4 bedrooms, all ensuite. Balconies, wide open spaces, and my favourite: a swimming pool in a garden that feels like a hidden Shangri la. All mod cons in kitchen and bathrooms The villa sits on the edge of the huge Rathgama lake, and is a 5 minute tuktuk ride away from the beach.This is top-end, five star luxury at an incredibly affordable price. There is a lovely couple who take care of all housekeeping needs; staff to clean the pool each morning; and a night watchman. I felt so welcomed and safe at all times - travelling as a lone female in Sri Lanka. I was happy to spend much of my time in the house and garden (daily swims) but I did venture out to local attractions, of which there are countless. The house remains the pot of gold I was lucky enough to find. Elysium in a paradise land. Cannot recommend more highly.
