A beautifully restored barn in a farm setting. Artistic touches and quality materials. Excellent bathroom with Italian fittings, and surprisingly roomy. For a week’s stay, an extra towel per person would be better - though if we’d asked, I’m sure Emmanuel & Nathalie would have obliged. Kitchen was very cramped for two people to share cooking - lacking any spare surface for preparation of salads etc, & no space to drain dishes and pans. It was a test of our ingenuity! Microwave multi-usage oven was clean & good, but did not match the listing of “oven” exactly. Very good range of utensils & pans. For us as older guests, we could have been more comfortable on the generous-size Queen bed if a “topper” layer was offered. A penalty of age, I guess! Garden surroundings were lovely, and the garden furniture & BBQ a very welcome feature; dog visitations not quite so welcome! Parking was well-sorted, & secure. The two local wines were a very generous gift - thankyou to our kind hosts.

We just spent one night at Charlotte's, it was very good, very clean.
