Midfield Croft is a great base for exploring Northmavine and the Northern Isles. It's a sympathetically updated traditional croft house (with perhaps the exception of the excellent and modern bathroom with both stand-up shower and bath). The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was oh so comfortable. Oh, and room for three bedrooms upstairs (we used the twin). Bruce and Family were lovely. It's clearly a working croft but they all found time to chat and make suggestions for places to visit. We were even warned about a seasonal hazard, namely that the starlings were nesting! We will always remember eating breakfast and watching chickens and rabbits just outside and the new born lambs in the nearest field. We will also recall the stubborn starlings. Every morning we had to check under the car bonnet and the boot sill for their repeated attempts at nest making! In short, highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in this studio, it is beautifully decorated and well equipped. It is perfect for 2 people and well situated for exploring Shetland. We really couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend this listing if you want to stay relatively close to Lerwick.

Fantastic stay at this gorgeous house. Great location. The house was perfect, we loved the sheep galloping past! Will definitely be back!

It is a charming and well converted one bedroom apartment. There are good laundry facilities - lots of freezer space. Comfortable sofas. All very nice. Be aware that the postcode only takes you to the edge of Vidlin. Go over the causeway and turn right! I had to call to find that out.
