Just spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Bugaboo. What a delightful house. I arrived late Wednesday night and quickly discovered there was no running water. With Thanksgiving being the next day, I assumed nothing could be done until Friday. However, much to my surprise, Rita and Elaine were right on it, knocking on the door early Thursday morning to let me know that water would be restored within hours. And it was! I was so impressed with the quick response and handling of the situation. Before checking out on Sunday, Elaine again visited and told me I didn’t have to rush to be out of the house at checkout time because no one was coming in that day. Again, pleasantly surprised and appreciative. The icing on the cake was that the host reimbursed me for one night’s stay because of the water situation even though I didn’t ask for it or expect it. I definitely plan to rent Bugaboo again. It’s clean, has nice furniture, a most comfortable bed, a great kitchen and a great location!

This was our second time staying at Pat’s home and once again it was the perfect option for our family. It’s located perfectly so that we can visit with family in Rhea Valley and Mountain City while also exploring Damascus, hiking on the AT and rambling in the local creeks. It’s was easy to get to Shady Valley to go hiking and to explore Backbone Rock. Having Food City two minutes away is really nice, the dogs love the big fenced yard and we LOVED sitting out on the front porch drinking coffee, reading books and relaxing with the neighbors all out on their front porches. Again…it’s the perfect home for our family!

This home was an ideal meeting place for a girls trip with us being from different parts of the state! The home exceeded our expectations, was very comfortable, and had plenty of beautiful outdoor space as well. It was close to things we wanted to do in Waynesboro, Charlottesville, and everywhere in between! Highly recommend!

If you are going to a NASCAR races like my significant other and I did, it’s the perfect location. Pretty close to the track, lots of things to do in a 30 minute radius, and great restaurants. The place was extremely clean and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

Our 5th time staying here and it never disappoints! Always clean, well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful peaceful location! So convenient to our son’s house so we keep coming back. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The hot tub was definitely a highlight! Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Richmond. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with plenty of extra sheets and linens. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, ideal for unwinding, and parking was a breeze with plenty of space right outside. The only downside was the shower water pressure, which was a bit on the weaker side. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but something worth noting for anyone who loves a strong shower flow. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing getaway! Would definitely recommend!

We had such a great stay here. Deanna was so friendly and helpful! The place is beautiful and has instructions on how to work/use everything. I loved that she even had recommendations on what to do and restaurants. There were so many amenities in the home that were so helpful We recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Had such a great time staying here! Everything was super easy to get to and really relaxing. The game room was awesome, we spent a lot of time there just having fun. The whole place was clean, comfy, and made it really easy to just chill. Definitely would stay again and totally recommend it!
