Treehouse vacation rentals in Virginia

This cabin was awesome…exceeded expectations! So cozy and cute with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It was spotless - one of the cleanest, neatest Airbnb homes I’ve stayed in. The host responded to my questions immediately. It was also very touching to see the added touches as a tribute to Trooper Fox. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay with our dogs. We loved the privacy with no neighbors in sight. There were lots of bees so it was a bit hard to enjoy sitting out on the deck but otherwise was great! Nice to be able to walk into Shenandoah right from the house.

Stayed for a weekend and enjoyed it immensely! This property is very private, has amazing scenery, and quaint lodging that felt very homey. I stayed during the winter months; that did not present a problem since the heat worked flawlessly in the bunk house. Mitch was very responsive and offered any way to make my stay more enjoyable. I’ll certainly be planning a return trip!

Loved the area and the atmosphere around the home. We didn’t go anywhere but it was nice to just get away for a few days with my sisters. Definitely going to go again.

This cabin was beautiful! The interior was gorgeous with elegant and quality furnishings. The house was well stocked with many items which was so nice. The views and setting were stunning! Every window and door gave you majestic views of mountains and wildlife! The porch as AMAZING as was the fire-pit! To top it off there is a trampoline which I enjoyed channeling my inner child all with Mountain View’s! The hiking trail was exceptionally well done which we enjoyed. The hosts were amazing in responses and help and the welcome touches were so appreciated. What a way to celebrate retirement! We will be back!

The Treehouse was a great location for our family! The house was absolutely beautiful - peaceful and serine for the adults and exciting for the children! Great location to stay with Shenandoah National Park nearby. Ruth’s guidebook and recommendations were helpful! Also recommend purchasing one of their steaks!! We hope to enjoy their property again in the future.

While it is noted in the description that this treehouse was made by treehouse master Pete Nelson it didn't click until we arrived that they meant THE treehouse master! It was thrill to see the treehouse featured in New Treehouses Around the World book which I'd leafed through years before. On to the actual experience, the treehouse is just spectacular. We appreciated all the native plants in the understory, the playhouse next to the treehouse and the craft that went into the build. The treehouse is close to Abington and about 45 minutes from the great channels hike which was a great place to explore. We are already planning our return!

This Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous and affordable at the same time. Comfy beds, heated bathroom floors, beautiful living room with views! I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to all of my friends/family and others who are traveling to this area. The Airbnb is less than an hour drive from Shenandoah National Park which is where we were visiting during the trip.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for our anniversary. It was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The decor, personal touches and attention to detail made it feel like home. The property was so peaceful and relaxing, especially the hot tub! Super host is an understatement. Jessica was amazing. She was extremely detailed in her messages to us and provided us with anything you can think of or need! We will definitely return!

Tranquil, relaxing and perfect for a cozy weekend getaway. Close to Harper’s Ferry and local breweries and restaurants. A must stay! I know I’ll be back :)

The Box Elder Tree House is the perfect place if you're looking for an experience!! Veronica was an amazing host during our stay. She was quick to respond to our last minute booking and so thoughtful, going so far as to put the heater on in the tree house so it was warmed up for us. We arrived after dark and still managed to locate the tree house with ease using her instructions, and saw SO many bunnies! The house itself is very cozy, and we felt right at home when we stepped inside. Listening to the babbling brook nearby and the night sounds of the countryside was divine and a much needed relaxation for us. While we did have some insect roommates, none were troublesome. The bathroom accommodation, while not for everyone, was remarkably well-kept and clean for being outdoors. Thank you Veronica for providing us with such a unique and relaxing experience at your tree house!!

The treehouse was exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. The house was private, tranquil, and peaceful. The views were absolutely incredible from every spot in the house. You could move just a few feet to either side and find a new mountain peak to look at on the range. The home was perfect for a weekend of unplugging and recovering from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I am sure people say this after every stay, but this has been one of our favorite listings so far. There were several hikes within a five minute drive and the house was right off the parkway which provided a scenic start and end to the weekend. We are looking forward to visiting this home again in the winter when there is snow on the ground so we can take advantage of the woodstove and all the comfort this house has to offer.

This is a beautiful cabin with spectacular views! It was secluded and peaceful, just what we needed on our weekend getaway from the city. Space was as advertised and had everything we needed. The best part was sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars! Close to the national park and wineries, which we absolutely enjoyed. Would highly recommend and we hope to return.

This is a wonderful spot full of character!! The house is adorable and updated with modern amenities while retaining the funky vibe. Love the details in decorations and commitment to continuity throughout. Beds were extremely comfortable as well! Plenty of outdoor seating and some nice spots to walk around. The road adjacent has some fast cars, but we were able to find some secondary roads very close by to walk the dogs on. Go down into town and you can as many flea markets as your heart may desire! Check out the golf club for dinner, laid back atmosphere and awesome food! Very quaint surrounding community and beautiful views.
