Lake house vacation rentals in Virginia

Our family of 2 adults and 5 kids had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving week. Watching the sunrises and sunsets on the lake was so peaceful and our kids loved playing outside! Private and beautiful scenery, especially with the late fall colors. We had everything we needed to cook and everyone slept great. Kids said they wished we had spent less time sightseeing and more time at the house so they could play in the backyard!

This was the best stocked AirBnB we have ever stayed at. It made our stay so much more enjoyable!! The whole house is just lovely. Thank you Rachel for being a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

The space is peaceful and spacious. We felt right at home and had plenty of space indoors and outdoors to spread out. Kevin was a great host. He was quick to respond if I had any questions or needs. We would definitely come back and no one wanted to leave.

Great host. Very responsive. The place was extremely well maintained and very clean. Everything worked exactly as it should from the keyless entry to Internet access. The property is located .5 miles down a gravel road, which is rustic and dusty. The area is rustic as well. The price was a little high for a manufactured home but it was a holiday weekend.

We had a fantastic family vacation at Matt’s house. The space is beautiful — there are amazing views from every window and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the home. The kitchen was well stocked and we had fun cooking elaborate meals. There were so many fun activities at the house — from the hot tub to shuffleboard — but there are also lots of great outings within easy driving distance. Matt was an incredibly responsive host who quickly answered any question we had. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences ever and we can’t wait to return!

It was a wonderful place to stay and we had a blast while we were there. Wish it could've lasted longer.

We had such a great vacation in Lake Anna. This was the perfect spot; nestled in a cove surrounded by mature trees with a breathtaking view out over the lake. What a beautiful area. Every day we seen deer and bunnies:) Wrap around decks. The layout of this house is amazing for a family- so many cozy spots and comfy lounge furniture. The kitchen is incredible. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The house was even decorated with a Christmas tree for us:) Beth was super nice and very responsive with any questions we had. We can't wait to go back.

This was the most well equipped home I have ever stayed in, from everything you will need in the kitchen to outside fun like kayaks, corn hole boards, and a paddle boat. Even the small stuff we sometimes forget like shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush was provided. The entire home inside and out was well thought about!

Quiet, quaint, cute home. If you’re looking to disconnect for a couple days, you definitely can here. Kiddos had fun exploring the outdoors and beautiful lakeview.

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

Kevin’s place was a great place The fenced yard was just what the pups needed The attention to detail as in coffee pod variety, great shower gel and big fluffy towels were so appreciated Would love to come back when we have more time and the water is warmer for trying out the kayaks

Tracy was very welcoming, informative and accommodating. She was very available if we had any concerns. We were planning a boat trip on the lake and she helped coordinate a boat rental that led to a lovely day on the water. Her mom is cozy and tidy and we felt very comfortable there.

Beautiful home and setting as described. The home is very well equipped. Megan was an excellent communicator. Very nice firepit and Adirondack chairs. Proximity and view to the lake was great. if you are a boater, like to fish and enjoy quiet lake life this is great.

Alisha’s lake house was the perfect getaway for my family! Right on the lake, a huge yard for kids and dogs to roam and play. I sat on the porch reading while hubby fished. The house is about 10-15 minutes from any of the main stores and shopping centers!

We had an amazing stay at Terri’s place. Everything was spotless. We needed for nothing! We had a few questions about the outdoor lights when we got in late Friday and she responded quickly! The property was beautiful and well worth what we paid. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

One of my favorite stays! It was clean, perfect location and had everything you need for a vacation. Location was perfectly on the lake. Home had so many amenities we didn’t even get to do them all! It is exactly as you see in the pictures! Host was also very responsive which was nice. Kids were already asking to come back soon as we were checking out! Will definitely recommend.

My friends and I had the best gals weekend. The house was warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home. This was a lovely home that had everything we needed and more to just relax and enjoy all the area had to offer. I would recommend this home and would very much enjoy booking again!

We have a great time, I will recommend for the house to have a baby gate for porch stairs sense the Clif around the house are no baby proof . the house is beautiful and super clean . Firepit area is super peaceful. I didn't. get a chance to go down to the river sense I'm pregnant and I was afraid of falling down. But everyone else went down and love it ! now be prepared for a very hard time going up . Is whole workout . My husband and Brother in law try fishing for 4 days and no luck , but they love the peaceful time seating by the river . One thing to check the AC change randomly from cold to heat I will highly recommend this place for a all adults group .

We had a wonderful family getaway at Peace of Lake. The house was cozy and clean with great amenities and activities we all enjoyed. The outdoor lakefront is beautiful and we enjoyed the watersports. Ashly was a great host. We would highly recommend.

Our family spent the most wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Jeff and Tracey’s lake house! The home is roomy, comfortable and cozy, especially with the Christmas tree, and the view out on the lake is beautiful. While it was too cold for water sports, we enjoyed the games, but mostly we enjoyed quiet time together as a celebration of my birthday. Would love to come back during the summer!
