The apartment was nice and clean, close the river. We didn’t know there wasn’t a TV. We should have noticed it I guess. It wasn’t a problem for us. It was a new ce place to stay, and dog friendly.

Our stay at Kelly's may be the best experience I've had so far with Airbnb (no shade on my other hosts!). The cabin and surrounding property were gorgeous, and Kelly and her husband were so friendly and welcoming. We also met their doggies, donkeys, cows, and kitty, and they were all friendly too! The cabin itself was absolutely wonderful. The location is so peaceful and really encourages lazy mornings with coffee on that amazing porch. Comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower, cozy kitchenette (the mini-fridge has a freezer compartment!)...we really were very comfortable for the nice long weekend away. My sister is already talking about coming back!

Cindy and Bills Airbnb was amazing and even better than we could have imagined. It was so cute and comfortable! We sat on the deck, drinking wine, and had a beautiful view complete with Alpacas! It was close to FarmVille which was great! We will definitely be back!

We spent two nights at David’s place and it was a wonderful place to come back to after a long hike. The cottage was clean and cozy, but the one of the highlights of our trip was watching the sunset on the patio. The property is spectacular! Also bonus points for the mini muffins! Thank you for a great stay!

The house was immediately welcoming upon entry with plenty of space for a large family gathering (though we arrived as only three of us). The massive table and kitchen was well laid out. The upstairs was a fun set up with its five or six different beds. We all got to choose the one that fit our personalities the best (and there were plenty of options to choose from). This morning before checking out we saw some baby deer frolicking and chasing each other around outside in the trees while we drank our coffee. If we have the opportunity we will absolutely rent this place again for another family trip. Thank you Amanda for the perfect little experience in the middle of our road trip!

Teenagers point of view...easy, chill, and very comfortable. Loved the pool time (2 teenage girls) From an adults point of view... loved the privacy, pool by the room. It was very relaxing and pleasant. Exactly what we needed for the weekend. We also loved the pool. Owner was very pleasant and quick to respond. We will book again.

Great space inside and out! The "Little Green Pig" was awesome. Super clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a 3 night stay. Barry and Shani are the best! The outside area was beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved our stay at Leigh’s place. I genuinely cannot recommend this spot enough if you’re needing to get away and just unwind. Beautiful surroundings, quiet, and just overall very peaceful. Leigh was such a great and accommodating host! We will be back!

Elizabeth was so helpful and accommodating with our evolving arrival situation and a change in our pet situation. She made our arrival so much less stressful! The place is a great location, peaceful and quiet, but very close to downtown. The neighborhood is lovely, and right across the street from Evie’s which is a fabulous bakery and bistro. If you are traveling with pets, the set up is wonderful. It’s spacious and easy to have your pets there. There is also a desk and working area if anyone needs to “work from home” while traveling. The beds were also quite comfortable. Elizabeth’s place is a quaint, unique, historic building that gives you a great SW Roanoke experience while traveling with your pets!

Very comfortable stay! Grateful for the dog friendly accommodations while in town for a wedding. The suite was well equipped and nice to have a kitchen for light meal prep. Convenient location with Uber for wedding events. Lindsey was very responsive and friendly. Would stay here again!

Was a nice little cottage my girlfriend and i enjoyed our stay if i visit the area again i would book this little cottage get away tracey communicate well and made sure that we were enjoying our stay and that there were no issues 5 stars all the way

Paige’s place was absolutely stunning! It was private, the pool was immaculate, the place was cozy, and she had everything you could possibly need inside. She was also a super responsive host. She gave us many great local recommendations and answered any questions we had within minutes!! We are already looking into booking again! We can’t recommend this stay enough!!

We stayed at this 1-bedroom apartment for one night (June 9 to June 10), and it was a great experience. The place was very nice and cozy, perfect for a short stay. It had everything we needed — all the essential utilities, coffee, tea, plenty of clean plates, and a generous supply of fresh towels. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and kind, making check-in easy and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!

The area is peaceful and charming—an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you're into nature, history, or just looking for a relaxing weekend, Suffolk has it all. The accommodations were spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We especially loved waking up to serene views and enjoying coffee on the porch. There were great local dining options, scenic trails, and friendly locals who made the experience even more special. This trip exceeded all our expectations. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and rejuvenating retreat!

JoAnne's place was truly lovely. She took great care to make us feel at home and added in little touches, like welcome snacks and bathrobes, to make us feel welcome. She truly cared about our comfort. The home is adorable and extremely comfortable in a beautiful, serene wooded setting. It's access to the W&OD trail cannot be beat! My mother absolutely loved her daily visits with Meister the Cat and we enjoyed sipping coffee on the front porch while soaking in the sounds of nature. Thank you, JoAnne!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was cozy and private with our own bathroom/shower, microwave/mini fridge, and washer/dryer. Everything was just as described and the complimentary water bottles were a nice added bonus. Would stay again!

We enjoyed spending a couple of nights in this clean, well appointed space. It sits behind the main house just off a busier 2 lane highway but once inside the noise wasn’t a factor at all. Comfy bed, nice bathroom & great to have laundry facilities! Kitchen was super cute, only thing missing in the retro reproduction fridge was ice cube trays for my cold beverage addiction. But I lived lol Tara communicated well & we had a stellar dining experience at one of her recommended restaurants, Food For Thought. Would 100% stay here again!

This place was perfect spot mid way for our roadtrip with our pup. It was off the beaten path and the most perfect spot to unwind after a day of driving. We watched the perfect sunset from the front porch and our pup loved playing with his toys on the spacious property.

Beautiful farm cabin, huge property to walk around, all amenities needed for a relaxing weekend, and probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever walked into … Definitely recommend.

A beautiful peaceful setting with lots of wildlife around. Christina was always very responsive whenever I asked a question or needed something. a great place to stay near to family to celebrate Thanksgiving.

This place is awesome. I dont use Air BnB a ton but this place was absolutely worth it. It is better than the photos portray it and absolutely worth the money to stay here. The space is private and easy to access, has great views and was spotlessly clean. Any complaints I had would be nitpicky so I’ll keep them to myself. This place is absolutely worth the money, it is private, clean and beautiful. It is a little “off the beaten path” but not so much that it’s inconvenient. It was close to all the amenities and beaches I could have wanted. If I ever came back to Hampton area I would have no reservations about staying here again and would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. Don’t let this place pass you by, it is better than you could imagine.
