Great cabin with nice amenities. Lovely view to Gaustadtoppen! There were 9 of us and found the cabin spacious anyway. Ski in ski out to the ski slope was great. Cozy host and nice communication.

We had an absolute fantastic stay at this cabin, it offered exactly what was advertised. Really great view and sunny location. Hovden have great services to offer and can’t recommend tid place enough.

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

We stayed at Willy's beautiful cabin over the winter holiday weekend and it was just perfect. We were amazed at how much bigger the cabin was compared to what we could decipher from the pictures. The living and dining areas were huge to accommodate all 12 of us. There was more than enough space for sleeping. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We were 4 couples and 4 kids and the place was just perfect for all of us even though the weather wasn't great for outdoor activities. The kids discovered the "secret attic" and couldn't be happier. Willy is a great host, always replying instantly and even proactively told us that we could stay as long as we wanted on the day of our checkout. He was very swift in responding from the start and made our stay comfortable. Great value for money as well. We would highly recommend this cabin and would definitely come back again.

Lovely place to stay at in a very peaceful, relaxing and beautiful environment. All of the amenities were so nice to have including the outdoor firepits and the bbq which made for cozy evenings. We didn’t realize when we booked that we needed to pay an additional cost for the sauna, but it was very enjoyable especially with the lake right in front of it. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for everything 😊

Lovely new cabin with plenty of space and great views from the living room towards the alpine complex. The disc was not quite with us in week 10, so it was only possible with "ski out". "Ski in" requires that the lift in Breive run, but due to the wind and mild weather, it was unfortunately quiet. Bad, we still got 4 out of 6 days of skiing, and there was plenty of time to enjoy yourself indoors. With 2 living rooms spread over 2 floors, there was plenty of room for everyone. Wifi ran stable and fast on all floors. Highly recommended to others.

We had a great trip to Knut Erling's cabin and the view of Gaustatoppen was amazing. We would gladly came back!

Super nice cabin, next to the slope. Really good disposition of the kitchen and living area. Good for two families. Nice with the sauna and EV charger at the cabin. At the morning you can sit in the kitchen and watch the sun rise over the Gaustatoppen. And the kids can use the front of the porch as a slope for playing and using their sledge.
