The cottage is all with all the comforts and very comfortable. The hosts, Hans and Annelene are very hospitable and we got tips for places to visit in the area. We'd love to come back to discover more of this beautiful area.

Amazingly beautiful with a big lake just over a small road. Rauland's ski area was perfect for our grandchildren (3.3.5 and 5.5 years) Plenty of wood we could use for both inside and out. We had a great week!

Beautifully located old house with a history. If you're expecting a villa with a sauna, this place may not be for you. But if you're looking for accommodation with a Norwegian atmosphere and a sense of history, in a beautiful and peaceful area, this is a great choice. The house is over 60 years old, so naturally, you'll find things like creaky floors – but many people, like us, will find that it adds to the charm. The stay was reasonably priced and appropriate for what the place offers. The only downside in the area is a small power plant visible from the window (but you won’t hear it). We definitely recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for luxury.

This was a last-minute choice when we realized we would be too slow in reaching our destination for the day. Iselin saved the day by responding quickly and offing her wonderful place. We had an amusing misunderstanding when the Airbnb translation service converted part of the street name to an English word and made it impossible to find in mapping software. But Iselin kindly guided us by phone and all was well. This is a beautiful and spacious place, but we arrived late and left early so we didn't get to enjoy it for long.

We had a lovely week in Rauland. We were there without a car and could do everything in about 15 minutes on foot (shopping, to the cross-country ski trails or even to the free ski bus). The house was very cozy and something very special!

A nice house with character. Rustic maybe a bit outdated. But it doesn't always have to be the latest frills. Everything you need. The only thing we found inconvenient was the access to the house. Parking across the street from winding road with no speed limit. There are mirrors but we were always a bit queasy when parking out, as the road is quite busy.

We stayed one night in the house but we would have stayed more. We arrived in the afternoon with a green landscape and low clouds, tasting outside in front of the valley. The stove and wood provided allowed us to spend an evening all 4 warm and cozy. Characterful house. Accommodation to discover without waiting.

We were a group of 8 people who had a great time in Rune's cabin. In advance, we got a detailed and well written with explanations of everything we needed to know. Rune always responded quickly and was very friendly and accommodating. The ski slope is right next door, which was very convenient when the youth could come and go as it suited them. Would definitely recommend further :)

This was a lovely new cabin close to the main ski lifts in Hovden. Very modern and cosy. Ronny was very responsive when we had questions too

Cute cottage apartment in beautiful surroundings! Can recommend. Alf Magne and Nina are very responsive. Hytta has everything you need. Just note that the slopes are only open Fri-Sun - which we did not check, arriving on a Monday. Our fault! Thankfully Hovden is only a 45 min drive away where we enjoyed the slopes and skiløypen.

Country-style classical home, easy to find, super easy to check in. Very convenience location for traveling stop over.

Really cozy cabin where we felt very welcome. Nice area with good cross-country tracks. Olav was very accommodating and super easy to communicate with both before and during the stay. All in all a really nice stay.

Family of 4 from DK.🇩🇰 We were in Jorgens cabin for 4 nights over the New Year. It's an amazing cabin! The location is formidable, such a beautiful view! There was 30 cm of snow when we arrived, just like in the pictures. There is a well-equipped kitchen. Good space. Snow chains are required if you arrive when snow has fallen, as the cabin is perched on a hill. Jorgen gets the warmest recommendations from here - we will be happy to come again⭐️

Had a really good stay at the cabin, which appeared brand new, neat and clean. It is worth paying attention to, there are two rather steep hills close to the cabin, which is why snow chains for most people are probably a necessity in the winter. Furthermore, there wasn't much storage space and no drying room for wet ski clothes. However, nothing that ruined our experience :)

We had the most wonderful 6 weeks possible in Borghilds Cabin! We planned it as a long vacation with our 9 months old baby before we get back into work. This was the perfect place for us. An ideal mix of adventure opportunities in the area with lots of hiking and fishing and very cozy cabin life for a price, which even we as young parents could afford! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
