Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

House in the heart of the countryside

Come and recharge your batteries in the countryside in the Ariège village of Roquefort les Cascades. A fully renovated former sheepfold with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living area on the ground floor. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with private bathroom and 2 bedrooms and 1 dormitory plus a shared bathroom. The house has an outdoor area with a garden and a covered dining area. Departure from the house for hiking or mountain biking. The waterfall site is a 5-minute walk away.

Charming village house nestled at the foot of the Ariège mountains, with a garden bordered by a river. Ideally located for lovers of nature, heritage, hiking, skiing... 15 minutes from Montségur, 30 minutes from the Monts d'Olmes, Foix and Mirepoix, and Lake Montbel. The village has a few convenience stores to make your stay easier. As in any old village, the church sets the rhythm of the day, but earplugs are available for the most sensitive.
