All the ingredients were put together to make our too short stay a successful first experience in the Basque country: - a perfect location to enjoy Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and discover the riches of the region - a pleasant and functional house as a logistics base and a relaxing place between two expeditions in the area - Cathy and Pierre, two hosts whose kindness and valuable advice (activities, good places...) will ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Recommended unreservedly!

Emmanuelle’s place warrants all the 5* reviews, including my own. It is an incredibly comfortable and beautiful house - they have really thought through everything a guest needs. For example, a storm caused some electricity microcuts and not only had they shown me the breaker box, but everything is clearly labeled so it was a 2 minute fix. They really think ahead. The house is also in a spectacular setting and it is an amazing house to relax with family. An added plus is the AC - you don’t need it most of the time, but when you do, you do, and it’s refreshingly powerful. Emmanuelle and her parents are so welcoming, they brought us a gorgeous box of their own veggies from their garden as well as some local treats, and they were responsive to any questions or concerns. I really can’t say enough positive about this house, the area and the hosts. 12/10.

Very well-equipped and very spacious accommodation, the rooms are large, 2 bathrooms and an open kitchen with a large table, true to the photos and description. Very well located for visiting the area, quiet with views of the mountains. The beds were made when we arrived. Parking spaces are available around the house. Maritchu welcomed us personally with flexibility on the arrival time. We'll be happy to go back!

A wonderful house full of history and details and details, you can see the affection placed by Quico and Ainhoa in the care of their house. We had a great time as a family, being able to bring together 11 people from three different generations comfortably in the house. Spacious pieces, impeccable spaces, and all the things you might need to be at ease. We take advantage of the most cloudy days to get to know nearby cities such as Pamplona, San Sebastián, Hondarribia and Biarritz, and the sunny days to walk and swim in the Reservoir of Leurza, which is very nice. It was an amazing week, I'm sure no one in our family will forget this trip. Thank you for everything and our affection to Eva and her neighbor Don Jesús. Our little girl is convinced she is her "neighbor grandfather" : )

We had a great time at Yves' home. The house is very pleasant to live in. The space was very clean and nothing was missing. The garden is well enclosed for our two dogs, the bocce court is very nice! Ideal place for nature lovers and hiking, beautiful landscapes within walking distance from the house.

Perfect stay for a weekend with friends. Playground for the little ones who were very entertaining. Rooms with comfortable mattresses and good cleanliness. Kitchen and wide table where we could perfectly eat all together without the need to take turns. House close to attractions and very quiet and beautiful surroundings. Esther the hostess of the house was very attentive at all times prepared a ginkana for the village and the children were very entertained in search of the treasure. Flexible check out. In short, we enjoyed the house a lot
