What a find this beautiful house! The house has been done, furnished and decorated with extreme eye for detail and to high standards. Very well thought out. The garden, pool and bar/bbq area is lovely, you really never have to go out, the place in itself is a retreat. I highly recommend the house for a holiday or romantic getaway. 7 stars!

We had an amazing stay at David and Helen’s place. They are a lovely friendly, knowledgeable couple and couldn’t have looked after us more. The place was very clean with everything we needed. Beds were really comfy and the pool is a lovely added Bonus. Air con in rooms, well equipped kitchen and everything in good working order. Beach and shops and cafes are about 10/15 mins walk away. You will need a car to get out and about - we had the option of a parking space at the apartment too of you need it. Would definitely return here.

We hebben een hele maand in het appartement van Gabriel en Ana gewoond. Het is ons uitstekend bevallen. Het is een eenvoudig maar mooi appartement. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het was ook zeer schoon. Gabriel was zeer behulpzaam en had diverse tips voor ons. Regelmatig werd geïnformeerd of alles oké was. We hebben geen negatieve punten kunnen ontdekken en kunnen dit appartement aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Muchas gracias Maria&Victor! We enjoyed everything ! The Cortijo, the lovely landscape, neighborhood and your family. This is the right place to relax . Especially the fireplace and the beautiful terrace are our favorite places .We really loved the quiet neighborhood and the easy mood Maria and Victor are great hosts with a very good knowledge of the area. The house has everything you need and is full of lovely details. I'm still impressed with the love they put in this building. The pictures here are good. But it felt even better when we arrived. Wifi is very fast and everything works as it should. We can highly recommend this cortijo ! We will definitely come back soon! Greetings from Berlin!

Fantastic stay at Casa de Juan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Casa de Juan, hosted by Domenika, was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. Domenika is a fantastic host—friendly, attentive, and always available for any questions or local tips. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Agnieszka, who handed us the keys and explained everything. She was very kind and made sure we felt at home right away. The house itself is beautiful: clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to visit. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the stunning outdoor space. In short, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt geliebt und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Die Unterkunft ist klein aber blitzsauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das ganze Inventar sowie auch die Poolmöbel sind wirklich hochwertig und in einem super Zustand. Die Terrasse und der Pool sind insbesondere aufgrund der Aussicht auf die Berge einfach perfekt. Das Haus liegt ruhig, aber Restaurants, Cafés und der Strand sind fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt hinter dem Haus, kann man in den Bergen mit dem Hund spazieren gehen. Auch Dan & Natalie waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar und haben stets versucht uns bestmöglich weiterzuhelfen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und freuen uns schon hoffentlich ganz bald wieder zu kommen!

Sehr abgeschieden in einem Gebiet mit viel LKW Lager, ein Auto wird dringend benötigt. Kommunikation mit Vermieter hat super geklappt man hat überhaupt nicht gemerkt das er mit im Haus wohnt. Das Hotel Restaurant am Kreis ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gutes Essen. Antas ist zum Einkaufen nur was für Frühaufsteher besser die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Vera nutzen. Fazit für uns zwei tolle Wochen in der Unterkunft zum entspannen und Stressabbau. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

perfect place for a winter sun get away sun on patio from 10.00am untill sun set in the west over the buildings. very peaceful setting, great view of pool, comfy matttess as I do suffer with a bad back if its a bad mattress, loads of hot running water and a great hot shower lovely area shop's, bars, beach all walkable, felt safe as its a gated property. loved every minute of my 33 night stay, weather was great to for late January 2025 and February. Kitchen well stocked with pans, crockery, cutlery kitchen gadgets. Nicholas as a superb host and responds back if you messsge him about any queries or problems. I would 100% recommend a stay here and I will definitely be going back again to get away from the British winters.

Wir haben für unserem Roadtrip durch Spanien bestimmt 300 Wohnungen durchgesehen und Sam und Mats Wohnung war klar der Outperformer. Das Haus ist wirklich gut entworfen. Man fährt praktisch direkt hinein und geht vom eigenen Parkplatz zum Fahrstuhl. Eine super Wohnung, gut eingerichtet, in einem Stil, den man auch selbst wählen würde. Super Lage und ein Blick wie im Film. Die Betten sind gut, das Bad einfach klasse. Starker Wasserdruck, heißes Wasser, alles sehr funktional. Wer gerne kocht, findet alles in der Küche. Außerdem funktionieren alle Geräte sehr gut. Man kann es hier auch länger aushalten. Und die Terrasse ist eigentlich unbeschreiblich!!

Ha sido una estancia estupenda ! nos gustó que fuera todo planta baja y la piscina de la urbanización a dos pasos, (literalmente) abrir la verja que separaba la terraza del apartamento y estar ya en la piscina. La terracita para desayunar por las mañana, estupenda tb Todo cómodo, con aire acondicionado que bien lo agradecimos, en fin, que volvería a repetir.

We absolutely loved our stay - the beautiful surroundings of the cortijo and the lovely interior which celebrates the sun when it's warm and is cosy in the evenings. It's a very short walk into the village and Lubrin is the perfect midpoint to drive to lots of fantastic beaches and towns for daytrips. Our dog absolutely loved the setting with plenty of outdoor space for her to run around, and Sam was amazing with communication and recommendations/advice. Thanks for having us Sam!

Had a wonderful 5 nights as a couple at Ashley's place in early/mid-October. Rarely does such thought go into making visitors so welcome and providing not only the essentials for your stay but so much more. If there's a model for how to run an Air BnB for the satisfaction of your guests then this must be it. The location is great if you like the outdoors - with hiking and cycling starting at the door. We hiked every day, both locally and in the surrounding area. The hamlet in which the property lies is very authentically Rural Spain, but close enough to the necessary amenities (10 min drive). A car is definitely beneficial for exploring. The property is spotless, has everything you need, is well thought out and has terrific views. Despite considering the matter, we could think of no flaws. Go (if you can find any availability)! Thank you Ashley.

Ideal location for what we were looking for, able to explore local areas and have a comfortable base to go back too. Extensive items in the kitchen, comfortable beds, clean smelling bedding and several clean towels. TV easy to use along with Netflix. Great shower downstairs so didn’t use the one up stairs! Great sets of chairs in the back and front of the house along with cushions. We used the pool despite in being early April, it was freezing but expected and needed the leaves taken out but again to be expected for the time of year and it wasn’t an issue. Great place, home from home!

We stayed for almost 2 months . This is a magical place, the peace and and tranquility are unsurpassed. The natural beauty is breathtaking! The house is perfect for a couple and 1 or 2 Children. The kitchen was very well equipped. You must get drinking water from the tap in the village centre, which is free and from the mountains. We ve used the pellet stove in the evenings, pellets are available in the stove store in turre, much cheaper than in supermarket. it's about a 15 min Drive down the mountain to Turre with bars and restaurants and a vibrant market and another 10 min to the sea. Wonderful hiking in the mountains all around. Additional gas bottle for hot water was provided and more than sufficient.Stylish decor . If you are looking for a stay in natural surroundings , palms, cacti , agave, oleanders, so much more you couldn't get better. A top class restaurant "Fatima" is just. 2 mins away. Eric and Rabea were always available and helpful!! Thank you so much for everything!

Un lugar maravilloso no sólo por el sitio, sino porque Swen y su familia son realmente amantes de los animales. La piscina sin duda es una maravilla. Enorme y preciosa. Somos familia numerosa y tenemos dos perros de raza gigante, en todo momento han podido estar con nosotros sin limitarles accesos, al revés. Sans doute un des meilleurs AirBnb ou nous avons séjourné. Accueil parfait avec une bouteille de vermouth artisanal et des oranges du jardin. L’appartement est parfait, on s’y sent bien partout, mieux que sur les photos. Christina est très présente lorsque nous avons eu besoin de conseils, restaurants, où trouver de la très bonne huile d’olive, etc… Et pour les golfeurs c’est idéalement placé près d’un très beau golf.

Hemos pasado una semana estupenda en casa de Sara y Dominic. Ellos viven al lado y han estado muy atentos a cualquier necesidad. La casa está provista de todo tipo de comodidades y elementos para el ocio. El entorno es una maravilla, la casa está rodeada de naranjos y limoneros y el olor de los frutales ja estado presente todos estos días. El único pero que se podría poner es que la cocina de invierno es pequeña y su hacen días malos, como nos ha pasado, te obliga a cocinar en un espacio más limitado. Cien por cien recomendable.

Egbert was really helpful before, during and after our stay. the location of the house is really good and has a variety of areas to eat out in the shade or sun. the pool has a grassy shaded area with a good selection of sun beds supplied by Egbert. the pool is a good size and never gets crowded even in August! the info book was really useful and thoughtfully put together with many useful suggestions of where to visit in the area. Although we have been visiting the area for many years we even found new places to visit. the Lunar Cable park and inflatables at the resevoir was a good morning out and our grand children loved the infatable obstacle course. there is a good snack bar on site. Get there early and allow a couple of hours only. we often eat at Triana in the Valle de Este resort as the food is great and always consistent quality. if you dont fancy a full meal you can just work your way through the tapas! great holiday, great house and great hosts! enjoy!

A beautiful home and very responsive helpful hosts. As the pool is not heated and the weather during our stay wasn't great, I'd recommend booking during hot weather if you want to make the most of the pool. Even with 24 degrees weather on only the first two days of our holiday, the pool was still freezing cold. The house had everything you need for a stay. The area is best described as a sleepy town - perhaps because we went off season. You definitely need a car if your coming with children. All in all a restful break! Host were great but
