The stay at Tanias house was great! The house is super spacious and was absolutely clean. The furniture and decoration was tasteful and we felt right at home. I wish we could have used the pool, sadly it was too cold. We adored the large windows that allowed us to feel like we were sitting in the garden. Bilbao was an easy 12 minute ride by car and there was a huge supermarket nearby. Tania was friendly and greeted us on our first day. We would always come back here when we’re in the area again

A charming casita in a recognita aldea de Cantabria where to disconnect thanks to its incredible natural environment by the river. The house is in perfect condition and has everything you need. They thought of all the details and our stay was very pleasant. The fireplace heated the house perfectly and David was attentive at all times. We would definitely do it again !

we had a great holiday at the house. The photos don't show enough how big and beautiful the garden is. Also the house is more spacious than we expected in the pictures. Received by Lucia upon arrival. Being able to communicate in English. (I don't speak Spanish). There was also a delicious local delicacy ready for us. Very attending. The house was sparkling clean. And more spacious than I expected. The garden is large and fully fenced so our dog could walk loose. There was space for sun and shade. From the covered porch we had mountain views. The pool was wonderful as well. We were able to swim in it on hot days. It is large enough for a family of 4. The peace, the silence. Only sounds of the countryside. Cows, dogs, birds, toads. Very restful. And last but not least, the area. Really beautiful. What a beautiful region. Lucia thank you!

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

We were very comfortable in the house, the host was very attentive in everything, we had a small problem with the bed linen and towels that we could not find and he solved it quickly, easy access to the house and parking without problem with a small garden with lemon trees that is very good for those with dogs.

A 4-day stay exceeded! There were 6 of us, and we were all very happy. Sandra left us everything we needed in the house, as well as helping us on the first day to find it. The rooms and bathroom are like in a basement but they have windows. The only thing we missed was a little wifi and for the TV remote to work, but otherwise it was great. We had the heating on almost all day and we didn't feel cold at all. Overall, everything was great! Thank you very much, Sandra!

The cleanliness was impeccable, and the decor perfectly combined rustic style with modern amenities. The location is ideal: in a quiet area, but within walking distance to the main points of interest. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with spectacular views and relaxing nights by the fireplace. The host was exceptional, always available for any questions and with local recommendations that enriched our experience. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

A fantastic traditional house well situated for enjoying Comillas town and beach. This is a home from home feel, the house has clearly been used as a personal holiday home for decades and so it is filled with comfy details, interesting things and a very well equipped kitchen. There is WiFi too, which pleased the teenagers in the party. Parking is a little tricky at high season (July-August) but the main road above the house is a good place to find a spot if the closer by parking is full. We recommend Quo Vadis restaurant for Pizza and lovely pasta. Our group took great advantage too of the surfing beach 10 mins drive away from the house. Oyambre Surf company had surf board for hire on a walk in basis at the beach. Comillas is perfect for a multi-generational family holiday. Thanks to Florian and Veronica for their help.

We had a great time in Euskadi and both the location of Mertxe's house and the house itself helped a lot to make our stay exceed expectations.

The house, the setting, the wonderful location. Maria seemed very nice and attentive to us. It is very close to the Carbarceno Natural Park, ideal for visiting, and half an hour from Santander, Santillana del Mar, etc. Ideal for people who like animals and nature. I hope to come back some day, thanks Maria.

The house is fantastic. As it appears in the ad. Although hosts are in the next door home, the privacy is total. They are very kind and helpful, but also very discreet. You can't say anything about it. Highly recommended.

Very quite house and perfect location if you need calm or if you like hiking. You can find everything (supermarket, restaurants, bakery...and wifi) in Polientes at 8 minutes by car. Cristina was very helpful ans gave us lots of advices.

We spent 10 wonderful nights. The accommodation is very conveniently located for visiting Cantabria.

Joaquin the host was super friendly, very attentive, he welcomed us with a bag of muffins, the best we had tasted... he recommended places to see, he provided us with firewood for the fireplace, the house is very nice, well-kept with a very large garden; barbecue, games table as described and seen in the photos. A very quiet place to rest and enjoy nature.

The house is just as shown in the photos, clean and tidy, comfortable beds and everything in an intimate and very quiet environment and with a huge estate for the dogs to enjoy. On the other hand, the hosts are very friendly and helpful.
