Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Villach

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful house during Christmas! The setting by the Radovna River was like something out of a holiday postcard, with serene views and a peaceful atmosphere. The house itself was warm (really, it was pre-heated right before our arrival), cozy, and equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We decorated the house ourselves for Christmas, and it added such a personal touch to the already lovely space. Spending time by the fireplace and enjoying the cozy atmosphere made our holiday truly special. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare our Christmas meals. Slovenia Estates team (special thanks to Beverley and Helena) was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Celebrating Christmas here was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway. We’d love to return in the future!

Wow wow wow! What an incredible stay with incredibly helpful, kind, friendly hosts. This was such a lovely “destination” stay, a way to experience rural Slovenian living and culture. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the stay and experience. Thank you and hvala!

The stay at Tina and Igors house was wonderful! The house is even nicer then in the description and pictures. Two saunas, a whirlpool, the outdoor kitchen... And everything is top notch and up to date, e.g. the kitchen is really well supplied and you have everything you could need. We really enjoyed our time there and the communication was always super easy and friendly. We definitely want to return and also recommend it to everyone.

Good morning, we felt very comfortable at Marion's. It is a nice and quiet area, ideal for relaxing. Marion is a very friendly and caring hostess. Upon our arrival, she provided us with fresh bread, cakes, cheese, etc. and various drinks were available. She had already provided fresh water, bowls and treats for our dog. There was also a wide range of cosmetics/ care products for individual and everyday needs. Marion made sure that everything you need is available. We had a very nice time there. Thank you.

Maria and Michael are very friendly hosts. We felt very comfortable in the exceptional tiny house with pellet stove. We also had fun playing darts in the garden house and at the recommended excursion destinations.

We have been there for the 2nd time and will definitely be back. Great house. We were there with our kids. Each bedroom has en-suite bathrooms . The kitchen is well equipped and everything is spotless. Perfect place for a relaxing break.

Fantastic house in a beautiful place. We were sorry we couldn't stay there longer. Beautiful views and wonderful walks. Nice that you can also just walk to the village, supermarket, eat cake or eat at the hotel opposite. Had booked a massage myself and that was wonderful. We will definitely be back to further explore this interesting region.

We stayed for 3 nights at Eva's quaint Riverside Airbnb. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Careful thought with attention to detail is how I would describe Eva's lovely home. The location was perfect, walkable to everything you might need. Eva was responsive to any queries we had. If we ever do return to Ljubljana we would love to book Eva's accomodation again. Quiet respite from a busy city. Fantastic location - almost hard to believe everything so close at hand. Kind and responsive hosts. Two toilets and two very nice showers!! Great a/c cools down quick on hot days

Alenka's place is a gem, wonderful views, peaceful area, shops and restaurants nearby, very unique interior style. On top of that very smooth check in and Alenka is very helpful and responsive guest, totally recommend! :)

Nice quiet place to take walks in the area. But you can also be in Bled or the Vintgar gorge in twenty minutes. Restaurant and supermarket are at the end of the street. Miha responds quickly and clearly and is a pleasant host.

An absolute gem of a place in beautiful surroundings and close to lots of great places to visit. Would recommend to anyone. Katja was so helpful with suggestions of places to visit and parking spots. The loan of the paddleboard was a great extra and we loved using it on Bohinj lake.

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

We had a great few days with Igor. We've never had such a perfectly equipped apartment, nothing was missing. The views over the mountains is a dream come true. The apartment is beautiful, great location for hiking and climbing. Igor was always directly available for questions and gave us great tips. We felt super comfortable and will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Wörthersee and Martina‘s house was a fantastic base for us and a home from home. The kids enjoyed the table tennis and table football and granddad the shade under the trees in the garden. The views are stunning and the walk to the beach through the woods was special.

Simply perfect accommodation for families or larger groups. Authentically furnished, and also the cooking facilities designed for many people. Enjoyed the time with Loris and family very much!

A great house for a group of friends but would be great for families too as there is a twin room off one of the double bedrooms. Walkable from beautiful Lake Bled and all it has to offer. A lovely house and recently renovated. Responsive hosts and made some good local recommendations.

Beautiful house with everything you need to cook and spend a nice weekend. There is a stream attached to the house where you can swim in the summer.

Villa Ronco Albina felt like so munch more than a holiday stay ... it felt like home. The villa was lovely, surrounded by nature and peace, with a wonderful fit and finish. And to complement that, Katerina, Marco and all of the special people who support the villa were always available and helpful. We came to the villa to see another part of Italy and to take a break from the crowds and hurry. While we certainly succeeded, we also discovered that there is so much to do in Friuli, although on a much more tranquil pace. From all of the charms of the villa, steam and dry saunas and forest walks, we discovered authentic pizza making led by Marco to mountain biking through the hills and historical sites (guided by Renato whose passion for the area is infectious). We only wished we had stayed longer...but we shall return shortly.
