Mit weitem Abstand die beste Unterkunft auf den Azoren, die wir hatten. Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt! Es gab Leckereien und Wasser zur Begrüßung, die Wohnung ist blitzsauber und, ich hatte wirklich Angst, durch einen dauerhaft betriebenen Entfeuchter, absolut trocken und wohlriechend! Die Wohnung ist, wie manch einer sagte, nicht riesig, aber das sieht man zum einen auf den Bildern und zum anderen war sie für uns zu zweit absolut ausreichend. Auch die Küche war gut und wir konnten uns lecker versorgen. Die Lage ist perfekt zum Erkunden der Insel. Sollten wir noch einmal auf São Miguel sein, werden wir definitiv wiederkommen. Danke, dass wir hier Gäste sein durften!

Hemos estado una semana y nos hemos sentido como en casa. El apartamento tiene todas las comodidades, es amplio y moderno. Está en una zona tranquila , a pocos minutos del centro andando. Se puede aparcar muy fácil y es gratis. Además está genial ubicado para descubrir el resto de la isla ya que está muy cerca de la salida directa a la autovía. Patricia nos ha ayudado contestando a todas las dudas y tuvo un regalo de bienvenida que se lo agradecemos muchísimo. Nosotros repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Luis’s place. It was spacious and beautiful and very well located. Luis was very helpful and flexible with check in and check out, which was very much appreciated. We loved everything about this home, one thing to note is that we did see a large bug inside the home. It would not deter me from staying here again as it is a gorgeous home, but perhaps something worth mentioning. Thank you Luís for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We were welcomed in person, and there were some treats to enjoy, which was very thoughtful. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The location was great, and we were easily able to walk around town. We also had an easy time finding parking on the street behind the apartment. Miguel and Pedro were lovely hosts. They were communicative and always quick to respond. We would recommend this apartment and will stay here again if we visit again.

Great location and host was very responsive to our needs. The Airbnb was as described and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Immaculate and great location in Furnas. Clean, comfortable apartment with well-appointed kitchen. The location was amazing just a block from Parque Terra Nostra. The Caldeiras are on the other side of town, a 10-15 minute walk. Ample street parking a short distance from the apartment. We found the washer/dryer useful. The best part for me was how quiet the penthouse was. It is on a main street, but the place is in the back of the building, and we never heard street noise or neighbors. This was my favorite place of the 3 we stayed at in Portugal, but it was my wife's second favorite, as it was smaller than the others and she found it a bit cramped.

Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

Wir sind als Familie mit zwei Kindern (7 und 9 Jahre) verreist. Das Haus liegt am Hang und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf Vila Franca. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Unterkunft und hatten für die gesamte Zeit einen Mietwagen. Ohne Auto ist das Haus nicht zu empfehlen, da es am Rande der Stadt liegt. Mit Auto ist es allerdings sehr gut geeignet, da die Anbindung von Vila Franca in alle Richtungen der Insel sehr gut ist. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.

A Gorgeous Villa with a Touch of Magic We absolutely loved our stay! The villa is not only beautiful but has a special touch of magic that made our time there unforgettable. Perfectly located and thoughtfully equipped with everything one could need, it exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home and will definitely return if we’re ever back in the area. A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.

We had a fantastic stay at Tara & Edmundo’s place - the house was incredibly cosy, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. A highlight was definitely enjoying our breakfast in the garden which overlooks the ocean. Tara was incredibly easy to communicate with and always replied quickly to any questions we had. She provided detailed instructions prior to our arrival, which made check-in a quick and easy process. A real treasure of a place that made our amazing trip to the Azores even better.

Tip Top! Klare Empfehlung. :-) Wir haben hier 5 Nächte verbracht und haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Sehr saubere Unterkunft, ein wunderschöner Ausblick von der Terrasse + Jacuzzi auf das Meer und super hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeber. Die Ruhe die man dort ist ebenfalls unbeschreiblich. Hier braucht man aber definitiv ein Mietauto, wenn man noch andere Sachen unternehmen möchte, da man fernab der großen Städte wohnt. Für uns war es genau deshalb perfekt.

The stay at the Hydrangea House was amazing. Not just the position of the house with view on the ocean was amazing but also the location on the island. The whole island was quickly reachable by car from here. Definitly would recommend.

The apartment fully matches its description. There are three proper bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two identical single beds. Additionally, there’s a bunk bed in the living room. The balcony is very beautiful, and there’s a parking space in a gated area, which is very convenient. The only thing to note is that the entrance to the parking is quite narrow, but we had a fairly large car and still managed fine. The hosts were very pleasant, responsive, and always quick to reply. The apartment was clean, and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend this place for any type of guest.

Spacious apartmant with everything you might need. Place was very clean. Location was perfect, quiet town, centrally located. Having a dryer was a godsend because the island is very humid and it would take forever to dry clothes otherwise (we stayed with a child so we used washer/dryer a lot). Private parking space in front. Check in was smooth. Only thing, the blinds for the windows should be better, all the light came in the rooms despite of them (late sunset, lights from the street...).

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia nesta casa! Sentimo-nos bem recebidos desde o início e a casa tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Houve uma pequena situação durante a nossa estadia, nada relacionado com a casa ou com os anfitriões, mas ainda assim foram super rápidos e atenciosos a ajudar, o que agradecemos imenso. A localização também é bastante boa: conseguimos chegar facilmente a pé ao que precisávamos. É preciso caminhar um pouco, mas faz-se bem. No geral, foi uma ótima experiência e recomendamos sem hesitar. Obrigado por tudo!

Such a bargain for a delightfully decorated apartment with an incredible view and a hot tub on the terrace!!! The area was peaceful and stunning and the apartment had everything you could need! Definitely recommend :)
