It is in the center of the Island, close to the freeway, ideal as a starting point for long car or walking tours. Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min. Casa da Vila is a very cozy and renovated space. You'll be close to everything when staying in this well-located place. Supermarkets, and other services, within a 5-10 minute walk. The market where you will always find fresh fruit among other regional products is right in front of the house. The famous Queijadas da Vila Franca do Campo factory is close to the accommodation, as well as whale watching, kayaks, a trip to the Ilhéu de Vila Fanca do Campo, and the beach are almost mandatory!
