Cottage vacation rentals in Victoria

This was our second time at Dave & Amanda’s place so there wasn’t much communication needed as we knew how to settle right in! This place is lovely, has everything we need to be comfy and check out for a few days. It’s quiet, peaceful and cozy. The dishes were all clean, there were no dusty corners or cobwebs anywhere, it’s a really well cared for place.

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage! The cottage itself was so cozy and clean & the location close to the beach is amazing. It had everything we needed and more, and the hot tub & patio area was the cherry on top! Becky & Scott were welcoming, helpful hosts and we would definitely stay again in the future :)

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! This stay was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet cottage, in a beautiful, private and peaceful location. So comfy and cosy, at the some time as feeling luxury with the hot tub. Would recommend, and will be staying again! Also, the family of deer that visit are so friendly, just magical. A lot of space to do all of the things I enjoy, fire pit, barbecue and a hot tub!

we spent the weekend for my sisters birthday with a group of girls, comfortable setting, getting up early and watching the ocean and exploring the trails near by was wonderful. We will totally be back, even better than pictured!

This was our second time staying at Leah’s and it was just as wonderful as we remembered—if not better! We absolutely loved our time, especially spending hours on the dock and paddle boarding. The cabin is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and so well stocked with everything we needed. Leah is a fantastic host, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at the little house - superb location, amazing host, thoughtful touches to the home and great communication. Pender is magical, and the stay made it perfect.

We loved our stay here! The cabin is beautifully designed and so cozy with the fireplace and heated bathroom floors. We were able to prepare a great meal using the BBQ and kitchen essentials provided. There are some beautiful hikes in the area (Mystic beach!) and an amazing cafe, Shirley Delicious, is right at the top of the road to the cabin. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax, thank you so much Melodie!

Richard and Rebecca are some of the best hosts I’ve ever had! So lovely, beyond helpful abc accommodating and their home is so beautiful and in such a great location! Highly reccomend if you’re in the South Island area!

Very clean, great communication and we really loved the extra touches throughout the space. Lots of extra items that you may need throughout your stay. Very easy check-in! Was private and would be great in the summer with the nice big deck. Space wouldn’t be ideal for some. We were a group of five mid thirties women that luckily have been best friends since childhood. If you aren’t close with your party and all adults, I’d pick a different space. The only bathroom is off the only real bedroom. The upstairs open loft is the 2nd sleeping area and the two single beds are hard. Price does reflect this.

Wonderful hosts, very friendly. Absolutely amazing weekend, would 100% book this place again. The lake was beautiful, and the local food and people were wonderful and friendly.

We stayed late March for a bit of spring break and the a lovely time. There was no one staying at the main cottage or the campground so we had the entire property to ourselves. It was very peaceful. The property is beautifully maintained with lots of space to explore. The seals were out everyday. Just a couple minutes drive form the grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

This won’t be surprising because it’s been said in every review. This place is amazing. To have an acre and a half of private, oceanfront property is rare. We loved everything. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the waves come in was sublime. Corinne is for sure the quickest, friendliest, most generous host I’ve encountered through Airbnb. Bathrooms had great water pressure. When we had a little downtime, the TV was big and fantastic. The hikes around the area are just top notch. What people haven’t mentioned though is Corinne doesn’t have a lengthy ‘clean to do list’ for when you leave. I also think people are walking away from Airbnb’s due to price gouging. This place is crazy reasonable and I will come again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Stayed for a week and it felt like home away from home. Had everything we needed. Located in a quiet location with lots of hiking nearby. The cottage is bright, clean, roomy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our dog was particularly fond of the sun room where she could watch the deer on their morning visits. We hope to be back!

We had a lovely long weekend at the cabin. David was super friendly and helpful. The location is gorgeous and private. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay. The aim of my trip was escaping the city and just grounding into nature. The cottage is perfect for that. This is probably the most thoughtful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, as in, Lindsay and Curtis have thought of EVERYTHING, even leaving bowls and towels and poop bags for my dog! Having a hot bath in the light rain outdoors at dusk was a unique and beautiful experience. This property is in the absolute BEST location for anyone wanting to use the numerous trails that are super close by. We did a different stunning hike every day and all were 2-15 mins drive from the property. Also didn’t see anyone else on the hiking trails, which I love. The perfect city escape! Lindsay and Curtis are as responsive and attentive as a host could possibly said! But at the same time, despite being on their property, it was very private. I felt safe knowing they were close by and would respond if needed but I still had that feeling of being alone in the woods. The perfect balance!

We loved our three night stay on Pender. It was peaceful and the cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed the walks and runs from the cottage in the morning. We would recommend this in a heart beat!

Lovely, comfortable place right on the water. The views were incredible, and we saw eagles, seals, and orca, deer and so many birds. Incredibly relaxing stay. We were there 2 nights and it was so refreshing that it felt like a week.

We were visiting the island to spend time with our son over the family day long weekend and had a wonderful stay. Such a cozy little cottage surrounded by natural beauty. Very well stocked kitchen and we immediately felt right at home. Lindsay

Enjoy the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. It was so relaxing to stare out at the wonderful bay and see otters play outside on the docks. I will always remember this place and will 100% come back to it. The host is wonderful and responsive and checked in on me various times to make sure we were enjoying our visit. I wish more hosts were like this! Cannot recommend this place any higher!

We loved our stay at Joann’s during our visit to Pender Island. The space was inviting and contactable and had everything we needed to relax. We are thankful for Joann’s great recommendations for local restaurants.

An amazing, well equipped cabin overlooking a pristine lake. The cabin is central to the island making it ideal to stay at while exploring Salt Spring! We were able to cook a full meal thanks to the thoughtful stocked kitchen and amenities! Ashley was a delight to communicate and even before we left we agreed we'd return someday.

Beautiful location on the lake! We lucked out with amazing weather so we could enjoy the fire pit in the evening & coffee on the dock in the morning. The house had everything we needed!
