Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vesterøy

This place is absolutely magical, both the house, the garden, the sea and the cliffs. Everything is generous and well prepared in a very nice way.

The cabin is located in quiet surroundings inside the forest (we were lucky enough to see both deer and squirrels) and with a short distance to the rocks and the beach. That room nice 2 families (a total of 8 people) and we think the cabin contained what we needed to cook for everyone. Rolf was a nice host who guided us by phone to find out the first day and it was extra nice that there were nice roses on the table and that the fridge contained refreshments when we arrived.

We stayed at the place for 3 days. It worked out great for us. The views from the place were awesome. It was big enough for our group to spread out and kids really enjoyed the foosball table. The hike down to the ocean was nice. Ample parking and quiet neighborhood. Kelly was very responsive, helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Only downside is that the place is an hour away from Oslo. The drive back to the place felt very long after a long day of sightseeing.

The house is indeed located in a quiet area (which was a delight) and has a playground 30 sec. away from the house, which the kids enjoyed! We spent 2 great weeks at Runes’ house😊

We only stayed one night to be close to the airport but Mikael’s place was great, really nice house, hot tub and sauna were great and you can see an archaeological site from the windows! Mikael was a very responsive host and I’m sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer.

Top house for many people! There were 16 of us who had plenty of room and enjoyed ourselves. Cozy large garden with room for everyone around the table. Very nice house and nice nature area around, within walking distance also for small children. Everything matched the descriptions and we would recommend this further.

We loved our stay at Sara's apartment. Super close to the ferry, in the middle of nature, and very well-equipped. A great basis to adventure on the Koster islands!

There were 9 of us in this nice place in early November, it was a short wait for the ferry and was very smooth. We went a little too far before we turned to the left so the map should maybe have a more detailed line on the trail. (It was completely dark when we arrived from the ferry). The cabin is nicely located at the top of Hankø and has a good standard with lots of space for refrigerated goods, etc. Some of the renovation wasn't quite finished but everything worked as it should. Great view, quiet and calm area. Recommended!

Marianne and her husband were wonderful hosts. The location right on the golf course is very quiet and pleasant. The bed high up - you climb up a ladder - is very comfortable (is not ideal for someone who is physically impaired, but there is also a bunk bed downstairs) We felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

Older house with cozy style. Sleeps 6, but dining chairs (and kitchen space) for 4. Worked well for us since we were visiting family and were out of the house for much of the day. Nice and helpful host. Cozy garden where the kids got to play some ball and play with the house friendly cat.

We had a lovely weekend at Annikka's place! A very charming house, in a super location. Big plus it is right by a nice forest where we even found chanterelle that we had for lunch. Our 5 year old daughter also got a very cozy horseback ride around on the farm. Recommended!

We had a wonderful Christmas at Johan's house. Everything was as described, sparkling clean and beautiful. The surroundings are great for climbing, hiking and activities - you are almost right on the water. Particularly noteworthy are the fully equipped kitchen and the outdoor hot tub! Thank you for everything - we hope to be able to come back!

Beautiful cabin - old and authentic but also up to modern standards in terms of utilities, kitchen, bathroom etc. The area has great hiking opportunities (especially for foreigners who wants to see the rugged, glacial landscape characteristic of Norway) and free ferry connection which is an activity in itself. The host is pretty chill, and the "house rules" are easy to follow and do not affect the trip in any way.

We were very happy with our stay. Lovely house and everything set up. Not least a nice host and good communication. Really recommended 😄

A very special accommodation! We went two adults with three young people and had a wonderful stay with swimming, tennis, cuddling kittens and evenings in the jacuzzi. A unique place with lots of possibilities. Would definitely recommend a trip here!

We had an unusual situation where another AirBnB rental fell through at the last minute, in a remote area. Stina was enormously helpful in getting us settled and comfortable in a very short window. Outstanding host!

Great cabin at Scandic harbor. The cabin has what you need and a nice balcony with evening sun. Map to the beach. Recommended.

There were 6 of us in Sandra's wonderful house. Check-in was hassle-free. The house looked as described and it had everything you needed. The view from the terrace was incredible and we really enjoyed the time. Sandra was always available quickly and responded promptly to any questions. Pure vacation!
