Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Veraguas Province

Pia and Enrique are charming and welcoming hosts. Accommodation is as described and photos. We were able to enjoy a room with sea views, a real pleasure to fall asleep to the rhythm of the waves! The place is peaceful and within walking distance of restaurants and tourist activities. We would highly recommend this place if you're looking for peace and quiet for a short or long stay.

Modern new house with a beautiful view of Hermosa Bay. Fully equipped kitchen, inviting, nicely decorated. Great pool with a beautiful patio area. A 10 min Walk down to the beach, interesting walks at low tide ( seashells) . You can hear the howler monkeys, they are in the jungle further down the beach. Short drive to Boca Chica where you can find a few restaurants and also boat taxis to get across to Boca Brava island. We also did a day excursion to visit 3 islands and do some snorkelling. We used Boca Brava Adventures and enjoyed the day. Our favourite restaurant was at Bocas del Mar resort. Amazing food at reasonable prices. We got take-out a few times. Marcus was very welcoming. We highly recommend the place.

We loved the house, we didn't want to leave. It was very easy to find and enter with the code they gave us, the food from nearby businesses was very good and the location is excellent, Santa Catalina is a very small town.

I love Suzette's place! It is the picture of peace. It's SO quiet, and you can hear the waves crashing on the beach across the road. It's near the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by endless nature. No neighbors immediately on any side. Birds chirping, tall trees. I felt like the studio was more spacious than the pictures showed. Comfortable beds and couches. Caretakers Omer (from Turkey and speaks perfect English) and Thomas (from the United States) live nearby and are always available to help out. I even paid Omer a bit extra to bring over delicious homecooked Turkish meals! Suzette is available through WA messaging. The internet is fast. Housekeeping available for $6 per hour. I booked the place for a month and then decided to stay longer because it's simply Heaven on Earth for nature lovers. It's not party central if you want to be in the middle of everything, but if you're looking for a place to regulate your nervous system and come back to yourself, there's no place better.

Felix and Vanessa sent us a lot of Tipps for our time in Santa Fe. Great and remote place to explore the area. Watch out for the biting bugs outside the house during the day.

It's the quintessential "beach house"! Loved it! Very close to the beach areas, the pool was amazing, and the property mgmt (Monchi) always available, friendly, and helpful for info and support. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxing, pleasurable stay in the Las Lajas area ❣️

We just needed a place to rest our heads for the night after a long drive. Jorge’s place was nice and cool (AC) and what we expected.

We had a lovely holiday there. The neighborhood is very nice, on a hill, calm and quiet. Nice hosts, they even shared fish from the catch once. There are great diving centers in the area.

Wanted a place near a not crowded beach to spend a week of quality time with the family. Richard’s place was right on target. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but Richard’s lengthy description was spot on in accuracy. He accurately described the lack of nearby places to get groceries and the minimal number of restaurants in the vicinity. Thanks to his info, we easily found a major grocery in route and stocked up on what we would need for the week. Upon arrival, Raphael met us and showed us how to find everything in the well equipped unit and also gave us info on what restaurants were in reasonable driving distance. The only issue of note was the difficulty in regulating the shower temperature, which we learned was a neighborhood issue. In summary, we loved the place - relaxing in the pool, walking the beach, and the warm ocean. Lobster Cove is pretty shallow,so not for surfing or snorkeling, but just fine for us.

We felt very comfortable from the first to the last day. The apartment is as described, everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. Doris and Manfred are outstanding hosts. They supported us far above the normal level and gave us valuable advice. When we are back in the area, Doris and Manfred's apartment is our first address. Thanks to Doris and Manfred

We had a great five days with Diego. Be sure to grab one of his amazing Açai Bowls. Perfect surf fuel.

Because the apartment is on the 2nd floor and you are among the trees, you still get an outdoor feeling. You will hear some noise and music from the restaurants, but that is only moderately disturbing. The open living room and kitchen make sure you are outside constantly. Wonderful. The fact that there is no air conditioning sometimes makes it warm. But with a fan on, it's easy to do. I do support the environment friendly concept of Karlien. Separate neat waste. Offer tasty herbs from her garden. Drinking water station so you can fill bottles. Super nice hus and super friendly host.

Unfortunately we did not get to stay as there were water pumping issues in the region. However Alexia was fabulous in helping us find alternate accommodation and was always very responsive.

Super happy we stayed here. The host is so kind, the place was impeccable, the surroundings were beautiful, the studio had everything that we needed. Great communication - everything was just great honestly. Wish we could have stayed longer, next time we come to Santa Catalina we will definitely stay here. Felt like my own little apartment, loved everything about it. Thank you so much for having us :)

We stayed at Elli's place for 3 nights and it was great. She has already helped us organize a tour in advance! The communication with her is perfect and she is very careful not to miss anything for her guests. If anything came up, she was right there. There are also only positive things to say about the accommodation. It's all new and the kitchen is equipped with a lot. Furthermore, it is very clean and in such a way that you can walk to everything. Thank you for the wonderful time and your commitment.

We spent one night in the apartment while passing through and it was perfect for us. Spacious and it had everything you need. Alex is a super committed host, always available and helpful.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Elli was just amazing – she took care of so many things, was always available and had great recommendations for us. She not only organized various tours for us, but also booked our shuttle to the next accommodation – that made our trip so much more relaxed! The apartment itself was beautiful, cozy and lovingly furnished. We felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was clean, perfectly equipped and just to feel good. An amazing place! I fell in love with the apartment and the garden, it is clear that they have put a lot of love into it. Alejandro was always available and giving us precise instructions.
