Perfect stay in this lovely part of Shetland. Orwick Lodge is wonderful in terms of comfort, facilities provided and stunning views. So much birdlife to see from the comfort of the sofa! Michael and Mandy are very caring and provide lots of information on the area. Lots of extras too, including the complimentary mussels, which were delicious.

Nigel and Helena made us feel very welcome, and also sent good information and directions to the cottage, the cottage was clean warm and welcoming with a welcoming pack left for us. The shower and bathroom clean and lots of toiletries for use, Both bedrooms large and lots of storage space with electric blankets on the beds great for a winter holiday. The lounge comprises of 2 large sofas and comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped pots, pans, microwave, toaster, airfyer and everything you would expect to have. The garden beautifully kept with easy access lovely to sit and watch the resident pheasants. The whole home tastefully decorated in keeping with its age. Parking outside the home with motion sensor lights at night time. Walls has a lovely little harbour within minutes of the home if your into fishing or Kayaking it also has a shop. Would I book Rocklea again? Absolutely without a doubt. Thank you to Nigel and Helena for looking after us so well, a special thank you from Liam.

The cottage was perfect for us five, clean, practical and cosy. We really enjoyed being on the croft, and at the time of lambing ! Thank you Bruce, Jean and John for your warm welcome. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

We really enjoyed having the comfort of East Gate to return to after our days out. The accommodation was beautifully clean on arrival and with all we needed to keep it tidy while we were there. The décor is stylish and relaxing and the house is warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water available. Everything that one might need seems to be provided in the house and it certainly felt like a 'home from home'. Karen is a welcoming host who replies very quickly to any communications. If I return to Shetland I would certainly book again as East Gate is in a great central location for all the islands.
