Roland's apartment is well-furnished, roomy and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is nothing short of amazing - you can see for miles all the way across Lake Ohrid to Albania. Much of the city is visible, as well. A short walk to the lake, restaurants and the downtown area. A well-stocked supermarket is directly across the street. The kitchen has everything needed for a long stay. There is a large dining room table and four chairs, a big coffee table and a big L-shaped couch that is firm and perfect for relaxing. A mini-split heater/air con works perfectly. The bedroom has plenty of space for clothes and gear. The bed is one of the best I've ever slept on, with an excellent mattress and plenty of bedding. The bathroom is well-equipped and has a washer/dryer combo machine that works very well. The entire apartment is modern and has all the little things one would need. Roland is very responsive and helpful and was kind enough to meet me at the bus station! An excellent host!

Wow, where do I even begin? Marko is a lovely human being who really tries to take care of his guests, there was some confusion and no data when I arrived in Struga and Marko knew where to find me after I was dropped off at the wrong place. The house is very humble and beautiful, and a lot of effort has been put into it. The vines were a lovely vignette for the view out onto the lake and mountains, I enjoyed many days cooking out on the balcony and watching the sun set across the horizon. I stayed for a month and will happily stay for longer if next time my schedule allows it. Great space for DNs or people just looking for a nice chill space in Struga to lay low for a while. As for the town itself (and Ohrid), they really surprised me in a nice way. I would recommend spending some time here for sure. Thank you so much Marko for the lovely stay, and for sending me to Ohrid on my last day! It was a real pleasure to stay in your place, and I hope to see you again soon!

There have been many written about the place and hospitality of the hosts and there is nothing more to agree with other guests. We have no reproach. Unfortunately, however, we were not advised of the problematic heating of the property in the colder months. Which resulted in a change in our reservation after the first night, which then made our plans difficult. However, everything was resolved without a problem and the money was refunded in full. Hopefully we can visit the place in the summer months, or the host will add a fireplace in the meantime 🙂
