Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Vejle

Our main goal was to visit Lego Haus and Legoland, but the accommodations for the dates we selected in Billund were already booked or at very high prices. Overnight in Vejle turned out to be a shot at 10! Very atmospheric town, worth a visit. The cottage was located in a quiet area, about a 10-minute drive from the center, so the best choice for motorists. Great communication with Mia, very kind and helpful person. What surprised us at the house was a lot of the owner's personal belongings, the first time we encountered something like this, but it was an interesting experience to see someone else live. The cottage had everything you needed, so we were very happy with the stay. I RECOMMEND, perfect for a family with 1 child.

Pia was an extremely nice and warm host (who offered us the day of departure, but just to stay for the rest of the day). The days with her were super relaxed and cozy, so right on the beach. It's already special to enjoy the view over the bay from the dining table in any weather... For us - with three adults and children - there was definitely enough space in Pia's Sommerhus... even to retreat in Anneks and do the few work handles that were still necessary despite the vacation. (It certainly makes sense to think about in advance, if you are staying in the passage room to the toilet, so to speak, and who does it in a way out of the way in Anneks, but who looks much less out of the way than expected due to the complex of the property.) We will be happy to come back... and now also know how to move the sliding door between the living room and the bedroom without waking everyone up again. 😉

Super nice little "apartment". There is what you need for a few days' stay if you do not need to be able to make the big main meals. There is, as so nicely described, just a small "kitchenette". It is really nice. Did not meet Anita in person, but she was incredibly accommodating and flexible through the message exchange we had. We'd love to come back if we have to take a short trip to Horsens again.

We had a perfect stay in Martins beautiful home. The communication was very nice, straight-forward and transparent. The arrival and departure process were both super easy. The house itself is a treasure. Top equipped, super cozy and perfect for a family with 2 small kids. We can highly recommend staying here.

Camilla’s place was perfect for our family weekend to Legoland and Lego House - everything we needed and Camilla was a very responsive host. We loved meeting the cats!

Very, very nice apartment. Everything you need to spend a few quiet days. Nature in the vicinity and a small cozy downtown. Heidi is very friendly, helpful and responds quickly to any questions.

It's a real gem! You don't even know if you want to go straight out to the beach, or just look out from inside and enjoy the house itself! Beautifully furnished, nothing is missing, you immediately feel comfortable! Sparkling clean and everything you need! Communication with Morten was excellent and super reliable! We felt like at home from the first moment. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully decorated. There were beautiful fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. The location is simply fantastic. You have a great view of the bay and the offshore islands. The harbor is just a few steps away. The place is very pretty and invites you to take a walk. Peter is always available if you need tips for excursions. And the south coast of Funen has a lot to offer! We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Clean space, easy check in and check out, lacking in the space - everything from spice to cloths to dishwasher and washing machine. Intuitive to find all those things. Good beds, no noise. Location is perfect right next to the city's best bakery and beach and downtown. Communication amazing. Highly recommend Ulla's place ☺️

We had an amazing stay. Elly and Bjarne are amazing hosts and very friendly. Kids had a lot of fun. Elly took the kids along to feed the horses, goats and chicken. We are also provided with fresh eggs. Would like to visit again.

It was the second time we were there. And it was just as good as the first time. Far out in the countryside, with beautiful nature and quiet surroundings. With helpful hosts🙂

The place was gorgeous. It was quiet, just a short drive from Legoland. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the accommodation had everything you need. There was an opportunity to sit outside, e.g. for breakfast. Hans Peter gave us some good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back. :)

On our road trip, we made a short stop at Rita's. Rita always responded quickly and was always helpful. The accommodation matched the description and was clean and had everything to offer for my girlfriend and me. We are happy to recommend Rita's accommodation.

Perfect place where to stay!

Loved Thomas’ apartment, felt very homely and pleasant. Lovely art on the walls, comfortable bed. The second bed is a futon which was very comfortable. Great shower also. All in all, a lovely space to base yourself whilst checking out Aarhus.

Everything was just perfect. Super clean apartment. Perfect view and very fast communication with landlord Kristin. She had a lot of tips for the local area. Very nice parking in the basement. Super super place and host.

Stayed 3 nights in mid-May. Location is great, with an easy walk to town centre, and a big supermarket. The apartment itself is really excellent. Inside is very roomy with lots of light and is super clean. The outdoor space is unique - a huge terrace straight out of the kitchen and lounge, which gets sun all day, and is incredibly quiet and private. Solveig is a super host, with loads of information and generous offer to share her family's space. A really great stay.
