Lots of young art, 1st floor by steep stairs, lively noisy street. Historic monument in the middle of the center, all attractions around. For 2 persons only (no other guests allowed!). My friend and I came to the Netherlands for the first time for a long weekend, we fell in love with the region and our RBNB and our hosts are a big part of it! We were more than delighted with the bucolic setting and nature offered, as well as the quality of services to know: a warm welcome, an effective responsiveness of friendly but also accommodating hosts. We particularly appreciated the small snacks, the heated mattresses in case of cold, the proposed bike rental, the small canalside dock to take our evening meals and finally we are satisfied with the clean, practical and thoughtful common areas (showers, toilet and kitchen), everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We are delighted to have stayed with Hermine and Tim, in this small idyllic setting. The neighborhood is very quiet, the view of the canal is very pleasant, both in the early morning and at sunset. The accommodation is private and parking is easy to access. Thanks to the bikes Hermine and Tim lent us, it's easy to get to the bus to go to Amsterdam. We felt good, the accommodation was equipped and very pleasant. We'll be back! 🥰🌷🚲

We do quite regularly vacation in Holland and the past few days were the most beautiful we have spent there so far. We found the location of the house perfect, very rural and quiet, with a beautiful view to enjoy from the hanging chair by the large window. Many beautiful places are easily accessible by bike, Amsterdam and Harlem can be reached quickly by train. The nearest beach is quiet and has nice cafes. The house is cozy and bright, very well appointed. Beds are very comfortable. We really appreciated the available towels, sheets and electrical appliances. We only brought one toaster as we like to eat Dutch white bread toasted. Grace is a very kind and helpful host who has always responded to us in a timely manner and has often made current events in the area aware of current events. We are enthusiastic about Zonnehuysje and fully recommend it!

What an amazing place to stay at. It was so peacefull and beautifull. You were in the middle of nature with lots of birds chirping and wind blowing in the trees. Also there was this very nice teahouse were you could sit if the weather got worse. Also the hosts were very friendly and if there was anything you needed they were there to help. I really came to rest here, and I am thankfull for my weekends stay I had I really enjoyed my stay and I want to come back one day, maybe try out the caravan they have. Thank you very much.

Spacious holiday home, neatly furnished and a fully equipped kitchen on a quiet recreation park. Bring your own towels and bed linen, but that was known and no problem. Central location in North Holland for trips from Amsterdam to Den Helder. Communication was fast and smooth, also in Dutch. Check-in and check-out went fine. Our midweek (Monday to Friday) stay here we liked. Definitely recommended.
