If you want to relax in a typical French village , then Vasles is the place to stay. Vasles is a friendly French village with boulangerie, butcher, bar/restaurant, burger bar, Mouton Village, post office & small supermarket. If you like an exciting theme park, you can get to the famous Futuroscope in 40 mins, and Poitiers is a town full of shops, history and architecture. The Marais Poitevin, known for its waterways, is 1 hour away which can be explored by bicycle, canoe or guided boat trip.

Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

Local historic towns of St Loup sur Thouet, Airvault and Parthenay have lots to see, or wander the lanes of the Gâtine valley and enjoy rural France. In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh. You will have at your disposal, free of charge, a boat, a canoe and two bikes.

Futuroscope Gîte: Les Lilas/Fontaine d'Aillé

The Gîte du Lilas is close to family-friendly activities, the train station, shops, restaurants, and the FUTUROSCOPE. You'll love this place because of the calm, the shared spaces, and the opportunities to meet people. We are surrounded by nature with animals and close to everything. My place is perfect for sharing a weekend or a vacation as a couple, with family or with friends. Since April 2024, a swimming pool has been available for sunny days. See you soon.

La Bouquetière Gîte, Golf and Gâtine

100 m2 house with pool access in summer. Kitchen, living room, dining room and toilet on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. In the countryside, quiet, 1 min from the golf course. After 8 years of use, the gîte is appreciated mainly for its cleanliness, its amenities, and its peacefulness. Beds are made and towels are available. The summer pool under shelter is located in the adjoining garden and is private to you every day from 2pm to 7pm.

It is located on the 1st floor of a renovated house from the 70s. The apartment on the ground floor is independent and also for rent..+ Perfect for a stay with family/friends or for professionals with its two large bedrooms.
