Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Varmland County

Een mooie locatie ver weg van alles. Hout- en watersnippen, vossen, reeën, hazen, zwijnen en nog veel meer prachtige natuur in de buurt. Het ligt midden tussen hoogveengebieden met voldoende wandelmogelijkheden. Tiveden nationaalpark en supermarkten liggen op rijafstand. ‘s Nachts is er een prachtige sterrenhemel met kans op noorderlicht. Ik kom terug!

We loved our two nights here. The surroundings can’t be beat and the house is cozy with everything you need. My teenager loved it so much he wanted to move in!

We had such a great time in the house! it's so great and beautifull!! And what a wonderfull place it's in!! The rest and peace around there is so good!! We certainly will try to go here next time when we visit Sweden next year!!

Ich habe das Haus von Yano für 2 Wochen im Februar gemietet, da ich u.a. richtigen Winter erleben wollte und außerdem allein mit meiner Hündin die Ruhe genießen wollte. Beides hat geklappt, es lag hoher Schnee, es war eiskalt und ich war dort ganz allein, keines der Nachbarhäuser war zu dieser Zeit belegt. Vom ersten Abend an habe ich mich wohl gefühlt, das Haus strahlt eine schöne Gemütlichkeit aus, der Kaminofen sorgt für eine wohlige Wärme, wofür auch ausreichend Holz vorhanden war. Die Kommunikation mit Yano verlief freundlich und Antworten kamen schnell. Yano hatte mir vorher geschrieben, dass bei Schnee die Zufahrt zum Haus nicht geräumt sein könnte - so war es auch, aber ich war darauf eingestellt, also war es okay so! Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man braucht und sogar mehr als in anderen Häusern, also auch hier alles prima. Ich würde erneut buchen, sollte ich Lust auf Winter und Einsamkeit haben. Vielen Dank!!

We had an absolutely incredible stay! The photos on Airbnb don’t do the place justice—both the house and its surroundings are even more magical and inviting in person. It is an amazing property! The spacious kitchen is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy cooking, and the house is stocked with all kinds of games and books for entertainment. The bed- and bathrooms are wonderfully comfortable, and the view of the river is simply breathtaking. Ivo thoughtfully provided a fantastic list of activities, including more than we had time for! From ski rentals and cross-country trails to shopping and local attractions, everything was perfectly described. We felt very welcome. Thank you so much! We visited in winter, but we’ll definitely be back in the summer!

Super sted 20 minutter fra pisterne i Branäs masser af plads

Vackert och rent hus i fin miljö med bra promenad möjligheter. Trevlig familj . Mycket nöjda med vår helg och återkommer gärna!

Vi bodde 4 personer (2 vuxna och 2 barn) i Simon och Björns mysiga hus och trivdes jättefint! Några problem som var utanför värdarnas kontroll men som de de gjorde allt för att lösa på bästa sätt. Vi njöt av det avskilda läget, lugnet i skogen och så klart poolen. Då vädret inte alltid var på topp var det mysigt att kunna starta en eld i spisen och spela lite spel med barnen. Vi ser fram emot att återkomma nästa sommar!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und hatte alles was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Wenn man Fragen hatte wurde einem schnell und freundlich geantwortet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Sauna und das Wohnzimmer mit dem schönen Kamin wo man entspannte abende verbringen konnte. In der Umgebung gab es viele Möglichkeiten laufen oder Wandern zu gehen, was auch für unsere Hunde optimal war.

Verblijven in het huis van Alexander was een echte belevenis. Het was heerlijk om te genieten van de rust, het uitzicht, het zwemmen, kajakken, suppen en de boottocht naar het eiland. Alexander gaf ons de goeie tip om naar de zonsondergang te kijken, de moeite waard! Als kers op de taart zagen we ook het noorderlicht. De accomodatie was ruim, gezellig en heel huiselijk. Kortom, we waren graag nog langer gebleven.

Vi hade en väldigt trevlig vistelse i stugan! Stugan ligger på en fridfull plats och omgivningarna vackra. Värden svarade snabbt vid all kommunikation. Bastun och badtunnan var pricken över i:et och vi kommer gärna tillbaka igen!

Vi var 6 voksne og to barn, som har kost oss så mye på dette nydelige stedet! Vi har badet, kost oss på de mange utplassere og gått fine turer i nærområdet. Perfekt for å finne ro og god plass til å være sammen flere familier. Vertene svarer fort, er meget behjelpelige og veldig hyggelige. Tusen takk for oss.

We went in Summer '24 with our two kids (2 and 8). Incredible Swedish island feeling and enough to explore for a week. Enjoyed boat trips, hiking on the island, picking blueberrys etc. Espen and Elen are lovely and help in any way they can. Thank you!

We stayed for a week in this place as a family and very much enjoyed the house as well as the surroundings. The house and garden are full of Swedish charm and with nice little details, a fun playground for kids, lots of toys for playing outside, a fire place, and beautiful terrace where we had breakfast and dinner with a view into the forest. We saw deer walking across the meadow in front of the house. Inside, there‘s plenty of place on both floors, comfy beds, wooden floors, ceiling and walls made us feel right at home. The bathroom is small but had all we needed, the kitchen modern and well-equipped, everything was very clean. The hosts were very helpful with tips for things to do as a family, such as canoeing, visiting elks, picking berries & mushrooms, where to hop into the nearby lakes. There‘s plenty of nature to discover by foot directly from the house, Treslickan national park is 20 mins by car and worth a visit, and the next supermarket in Dals-Ed is also ~20 min away. Thanks!

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

We came to Emelie only for one night but instantly regretted it wasn’t more! The place is lovely and the area around it is absolutely beautiful! The dogs enjoyed the running around in the fields near the house and it made a lovely hike for us ☺️ The place itself was cosy and clean and Emelie greeted us herself and left us and the dogs some treats, which was just a cherry on top! Would 100% recommend and come back for a longer stay ☺️

Hade ett par fantastiska dagar i Kerstins och Lars stuga! Supermysigt boende, väldigt trevligt att kunna elda såhär på vintern och det var verkligen pricken över iet att mötas av en tänd brasa när jag kom fram första kvällen 😊 Hade bra kommunikation med Kerstin hela tiden och hon är väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig. Att det fanns hästar på gården var en stort plus 😍 Jag skulle absolut vilja åka tillbaka och spendera mer tid där!

Het was een heerlijk verblijf in een mooie, rustige omgeving. Ik was van plan te wandelen in Tiveden National Park, maar helaas was dat i.v.m. sneeuw niet mogelijk. Margaretha heeft me een alternatieve route in de omgeving aangeraden. Dat was een prachtige wandeling door een winter wonderland! Het huisje is heel schoon en netjes. Het was buiten -8 graden en daardoor was het binnen ook best fris (ook al had Margaretha de verwarming al enkele dagen van tevoren aan gezet om het huisje voor te verwarmen). Gelukkig zijn er voldoende dekens in het huisje aanwezig om je warm te houden.

Amazing place for a nice getaway for the weekend! During the winter, the view of the forests and the clear sky with starry nights were very beautiful!! Catarina was very friendly, communicative and flexible about our checkin.
