We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house very much and can highly recommend it! It feels almost like sitting in a very modern treehouse with all the comfort you would want. The cabin was clean, beds and furniture comfortable and the outdoor terrace was just amazing! Everything was as described. 👍😊

There were 12 of us, of which 4 children in a generation group celebrating an even birthday. For us the place was just perfect and so we were lucky with the weather as well. Would love to come back..

Cozy and clean space with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was helpful and responsive throughout the trip. A peaceful retreat away from the hustle, great if you don’t mind a short drive.

The property has a great view of the lake and is very quiet. The area offers many opportunities for hiking and exploring. About 5 minutes walk away is the "beach" for the lake. Direct access to the lake (e.g. for fishing is about 1 minute away. You just have to go down the little hill. The nearest shopping is about 10 minutes by car. The hot tub is also highly recommended, even if it is inexpensive, as it must be booked in addition. The house itself is relatively small but perfectly adequate for 4 people as you have a very large terrace. The only negative was that the house is very cluttered with personal belongings that need to be cleared away first. Unfortunately, there are hardly any free lockers, as about 95% of the lockers are private or were filled with stuff. Therefore, we had no closet in one room and a small compartment in the second.

We were allowed to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden at Johann's and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was large enough for that. Johan decorated the house for Christmas especially for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. You could feel right at home. He was always available for questions and small problems and when the coffee maker was defective, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether it's exploring small villages in the area or hiking in national parks.

We had a really wonderful time staying at this really sweet little cottage. It worked great for our needs. The ceilings were low, so it was good it was just us ladies. Jonas responded quickly to my questions. Enjoyed it very much.

AMAZING !! We loved everything about this place! :) Bruno and Karin have been wonderful hosts, so thoughtful (snacks and bowl for our dog, a warm welcome note etc.) and caring. We felt right at home! :) The home was super clean and we enjoyed our stay so much! Even better than on the pictures, super cozy and bigger than expected :). Beautiful, peaceful area with great hiking options :).

Cozy, simple cabin/shed with sauna!

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

Cottage Gwen is equipped with all comforts, everything has been thought of. Nicely decorated and clean! There is plenty to do outside for children: large trampoline, hammock, toys and of course the canoes! The lake is really close by, you can also swim there. Inside, there is also plenty of entertainment for games and toys. The area is quiet and you can walk nearby nicely. Great place!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house in Sweden. The location in the middle of nature is simply fantastic, surrounded by greenery and close to a lake perfect for swimming, fishing and relaxing. We went a lot with the associated boat and our carried sup. The lake was great for that. We loved the peace and seclusion of the place, and it was a real rest from everyday life. The house itself is very nice, clean and well appointed. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay, from kitchen appliances to cozy furniture. We didn't miss anything. We particularly liked the loving furnishings, which makes the house very welcoming. A big thank you to Lisa and her husband for their hospitality. Thanks to them we had a really nice time here. We highly recommend this house and would be happy to come back!

We stayed here for a night to bridge our trip. Nice hosts and space. Great that the beds are already made and there are some goodies ready for you!

We fully enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Karlåke and Gunnel are super nice person. They are very helpful and very responsive. The house has enough space for more than 6 persons. The view is amazing from the outer room and also from the living room. The area is very calm, it is ultimate for relaxing. We wish to visit again.

Julian is very proactive host. His cabin is beautiful. My colleagues spend few day there and where satisfied.

The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

A dream for anyone who would like to enjoy nature and tranquility. Cute farm with beautiful sauna right on the lake. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. Only downside, there are extremely many ticks, but we knew that before

We had a nice stay everything we needed was provided (bed linen, towels, firewood, etc.). The kids were able to watch DVDs and we were able to log in to Disney +. The only thing we found less was the drinking water from the tap (iron taste).

Totally Bullerbü. Many have a certain idea of the typical Swedish cottage. That's totally true here. Even the path to the house is great, then the fantastic garden surrounded by forest, the cozy, typical cottage. The house is decorated with a lot of love. The cat Findus made it perfect for us. We will be happy to come back.
