Beachfront vacation rentals in Varmland County

Spent two days in the houseboat and it was really great, super nice location, nice host and nice walking paths and beach nearby. Will gladly return next year!

We really enjoyed the week at Gina's place. By boat, we were able to explore the two lakes and catch great fish. The hostess was nearby the first two days and helped us with everything. Great place in a lovely location.

Staying in Alexander's house was a real experience. It was wonderful to enjoy the peace, the view, the swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the boat trip to the island. Alexander gave us the good tip to watch the sunset, worth it! As the icing on the cake, we also saw the northern lights. The accommodation was spacious, cozy and very homely. In short, we would have liked to stay longer.

Together with our little children, we had a fantastic time in Humletorp. The two hosts Grace and Sebastian were always helpful, very friendly and generous. Highlights were the beautiful lake with sauna, hotpot and canoe, collecting mushrooms and berries in the nearby forest and watching and feeding the animals on the farm. Highly recommended for those (with or without children) looking for tranquility and nature.

We had such a wonderful weekend at Lottas charming and peaceful hideaway in the Värmländska forests. A perfect location if you want a secluded, primitive and calming experience. We especially enjoyed the sauna by the lake, sunbathing on the deck and playing cardgames surrounded by candles and the warming woodstove fire at night. Our dog loved it as well!

This was the best place we have ever stayed in. Lovely and authentic house, good beds, the garden elevates the overall experience, the lake is breathtaking. We made some nice walks, no tics or mosquitoes (end of May). We swam in the lake (still quite cold). We hope to come back very soon!

Helena and Kim greeted us at arrival and were super friendly. The place is fantastic, a renovated old house with original detail and modern amenities. We were thankful for the great hospitality and for the eggs from their hen house. We had a great time and hope to come back.

Super nice place in the immediate vicinity of Lake Vänern. Incredibly beautiful sunsets from the terrace. The apartment is perfectly equipped and nothing is missing. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and always got a quick response. Very clear recommendation for all those seeking peace! 😊

For 2 weeks I staid in this wonderfull house. The scenery is amazing, the view truly fantastic. Starting each day with a coffee on the veranda was a treat. Evan and Elin are great hosts and a huge thanks for making me very welcome!

We were 13 people on a family trip and we had a great time. It's spacious inside without being cramped. Outside there is a large garden and jetty, so here it was set for play, swimming, SUP and rowing. Here it is peaceful and here you become peaceful. Here are beautiful sunsets over the water and plenty of hiking opportunities.

Malin was a fantastic host and the house was really nice with everything you can wish for. Extra plus to the nice sauna and jacuzzi which was very much appreciated in our company.

Very nice and well-equipped house, both regarding kitchen equipment and for activities (toys, games and more). An absolutely fantastic location with space to hang out both in the garden, on the porch, jetty and inside the home. We were a large family and were also able to invite friends to celebrate a holiday.

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommended.

This was our fourth stay at the lake house and it was wonderful as always. We just love the quiet, the nature and the wonderful location of this beautiful house. Anneli and Stig are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and hopefully will be back!

We had a great 2 weeks with our family [11 - 73 years] 12 people. We enjoyed the charm of the house, the large garden with great views - the boat, the canoe and the beautiful lake. Likewise, the surroundings with blueberries, cranberries and many chanterelles. Ole is a very helpful and friendly host. The beds, rooms and kitchen were all cozy and very well equipped. Well rested, very happy and satisfied, we will remember this beautiful place......and who knows....if we come back there might still be a sauna.

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!
