Guesthouse vacation rentals in Varmland County

We really had the holiday feeling at Mike's! The bathroom with toilet is in the main house and you have to yourself. It's close by, so no problem. Mike was very friendly and gave us fun tips to do around the area.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Silvia's cottage, everything is available to enjoy peace, nature, ... and both to cocooning inside the cottage and discovering nature for hours outside. I will definitely come back! :)

As stated in the other review, we rented both places (Dragon room and Temple) for four days and were very happy there as 4 people. Michael is a great host and the house really beautiful!

Adorable cottage/pool house with everything you need, situated in a quiet area of Sweden. There is the most beautiful and peaceful lake just 5 minutes from the house, amongst the forest. I recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. It's a very lovely room, and the area is very beautiful, too. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. We definitely hope to come again.

Simple, small and cozy cabin with all the necessities one needs, well-equipped kitchen and barbecue. Great shower and bathing facilities a stone's throw away. A plus is the tranquility and the nice surroundings. Lars-Åke is a hospitable and helpful host, you felt at home.

Stayed two nights for archery-SM. Fitted perfectly for me to have central to sleep with walking distance to really good Steakhouse 🤗

What a beautiful place! A lovely cottage on the grounds of Marjolanda, where we enjoyed the silence, the forest and the sauna. Everything was very neat and carefully cared for and maintained, both the cottage and the garden around it. And communication with Marjolanda was quick and easy. Top!

We felt very comfortable in the cottage, which was built by the landlords themselves and very interestingly designed, and the pleasantly arranged outdoor area. If you are dependent on public transport, the radius of movement is limited. It is 4 km to the lake or the beginning of the Götakanal. We were able to explore the great surroundings by bike. The hostess contributes to a very pleasant stay with her nice helpful manner.

The place was easy to find, is a guesthouse on the hosts' premises, yet you are private and undisturbed. The hosts were still available and very hospitable at all times, for example, we were allowed to use the barbecue and the coal for free. Also, it was very clean and nicely designed.

We are very happy with the place! It is a nice, cozy and neat apartment with a great terrace (lit). The landlords are super friendly and respond directly to questions/comments. We would come back anytime!

The stay at Johan's was very nice. The apartment is located on the same property as his house so he was always available for questions. The location right on the river is very nice and idyllic - not least because of the chickens ;) Upon departure, we were still given crabs that Johan caught. Thank you again!

Very beautiful surroundings in Molkom. A warm welcome to step into the barn, bright and the opportunity to fire in the fireplace. We truly felt at home at Ingela's place. Her home has a fireworks of colors and you get happy. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen and toilet. Highly recommended🌿🌸

Very cozy cabin, in the middle of the forest and very close to the lake. Asa is a lovely host.

We are from Malaysia 🇲🇾. We stay from 1&2/4/2025. Due to long journey from Arlanda Airport, we reached the cottage a bit late at nite. But check in was so easy. We love the cottage including the environment. Hope to stay there again.

Had a wonderful week in Sweden. Very nice welcome by Gabriel with warm apple pie where the children went out after a long day of traveling. Photos don't have a location. It's a full house with really all the necessities. Wonderful beds! My son was in his hands with a PS4 and some games: pooling, foosball and ping pong. On a frozen lake where people cross-country skiing. As a tip, the fritids sofas where we borrowed skates for the children with a helmet. Fantastic. There were also plenty of sleds and snow fun toys available. We went every day to the local ski center Valfjället where the kids had a nice slope to slide off at no cost. Big fun. Lots of shops in the area like the shopping center in Charlottenberg in 10 minutes drive where you can really find everything. We just got back but the family already starts about what the summer would be like here with the canoes and fishing rods.. Had a very nice vacation! I think we're going another x!

We are super happy with the place. We stayed for two nights when our son played Luxcup in the arena which was walking distance from the property. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. Easy to find and to check in. Great information from the host and nice treatment. Thank you so much!

Spent a night at Sanna's place as a stopover between Stockholm and Lillehammer, and it was ideal for us and a great value. It's located in a quiet residential area with dedicated parking, is spacious and had everything we needed - especially the washer and dryer, which was a nice bonus. Hosts were gracious and accommodating, and communication was flawless.

We had a great stay! A lovely terrace where we could sit in the morning and in the evening! There was all day sun on the terrace! The host was friendly and brought a chair the day we arrived. Unfortunately, current residents are moving and the new residents will no longer host this property. It is highly recommended if you want to stay in this area!

Clean house. Very relaxing environment. Hosts 10/10. Beware hot water runs fast for 2 people, but other than that it was excellent! We will definitively come back next summer.
