House vacation rentals in Varennes-Vauzelles

We had a wonderful stay in one of Aurélie-Anne and her family's homes. we enjoyed the setting, the pool and the tennis court to the fullest. the calm, nature and good weather allowed us to spend 4 days in the countryside for a rejuvenating weekend. thanks to the hosts for their flexibility and kindness. We'll most certainly be back. 😉

We better understand the status of "superhost" after a few days in Patricia's Garden. Patricia was very welcoming and always attentive to us. We feel very refreshed after these few days. Our kids spent their time in the pool and calendering Tokyo which is very affectionate. The garden is beautiful and the cottage is very well equipped for a family of 4 Parisians in need of greenery! A big thank you!

Vikki's place is amazing! The place is giga tic! Lots of room for kids to play. We were 8 adults and 5 kids and everyone had fun. Kitchen is well-equipped and clean. Bathrooms are also clean. And beds are comfy. This is a no brainer if you want to have family reunion!

We had a lovely weekend at Muriel and Marco's cottage. The house is very well-equipped, ideal for 4 couples. The 2nd outdoor bathroom was not a problem (in this season at least). The bravest were able to enjoy the pool (a little cool still) very well furnished. Muriel and Marco are very friendly and available. Thanks again...

The house is really great, it's really spacious, well-equipped, clean. Inside and outside, everything is thought of so you never get bored (board games, karaoke, chess, badminton, ping pong, molky, petanque ball) We had a great stay with friends! We'll be back for sure! A timeless, bucolic and very charming place. We enjoyed our stay at the estate very much. The pool and Nordic bath are a real asset. Our host was very available and friendly. We recommend this place without hesitation.

We spent a night in the house to take a break from a long journey. Perfect for us, the house has 3 bedrooms. It has everything you need, we didn't miss anything. You can also eat out. Host are very kind and responsive. I would recommend this place for a short stay. Thank you very much.

Diane and Sebastien's house is a little touch of heaven, peaceful, beautiful, and serene...And they are wonderful hosts. We had such a great stay which was not long enough. The house is situated directly along a clear, fresh flowing stream that is so relaxing to gaze upon and sit along. It is also nicely decorated with a well equipped kitchen and the cozy bedroom is extremely comfortable. There is a lot to see in the area: vineyards, little villages, walking and cycling paths and above all the beautiful town of Sancerre. Looking forward to a return visit!

Nice house, everything you need... Attentive owner and available when needed.

It’s a great place. The house was clean and everything we needed was there. It’s in a quiet corner of the French country side with the sound of a small stream running in the background and the ruins of a 13th century castle as a backdrop. Shops are at no more than a 10 minute car drive in the town of La Charité-sur-Loire. We spent a week with 2 kids (5 and 6) and enjoyed the garden with the football goals, the trampoline and the little stream across the road. We also enjoyed the ‘adventurous visit through the bushes’ to the ruins next door. There’s enough to do with the kids, but expect a least a half hour car drive for that. Florian (and his sister) is an outstanding host. He responded to our questions within minutes in a very friendly way. After arrival he called to make sure that everything was OK. That call felt like talking to a friend who had a list of activity recommendations ready for us. He pro-actively shared that list in the chat for us to be able to get back to. Thank you!

We have particularly enjoyed this nice house. The decor is cozy, practical and equipped with everything you need. It is wonderfully quiet here with a spacious view of the hilly landscape. Every day, it was a surprise how the view changed with the weather and the effect on the landscape with the clouds and the sun. And the sheep in the meadow opposite the house are also cozy neighbors. Surrounding cities such as Nevers, Bourges and Moulins are worth a visit. The village and garden at Chateau d'Apremont-sur-Allier, and the Pont Canal du Guetin are also special attractions.

Perfect from every point of view! Only downside: the bay window of the veranda which is blocked, forcing us to go around the outside to enjoy the garden which is also very nice 😀 The bedding is very nice, the accommodation is very clean and the parking space adjacent to the garage is impeccable for keeping your car in sight.

Staying at Etienne’s place gave us a total relaxation cozy feeling through our road trip. The house is a beautiful cottage that looks much better than the nice pictures Etienne took for the house profile.

A charming and very quiet cottage, close to a laundry that smells wonderful in spring. Easy access and in a charming countryside. Communication with Claire is lovely.

Great stay in the woods. Perfect for a trip with children. Its animals that come to eat in the evening in front of the window and horses right next door in the farm. Despite some inconveniences beyond their control, Cédric and Paul were very responsive and kind to find a solution as soon as possible.
