We had a lovely stay at Janets place. The cottage is cozy and has all you need for a comfortable stay. There is wifi, but it only works on and off. When we were there it was only off, so for remote work not ideal. Janet is a lovely lady, always keen to help with advice, or offering rides. Communication super fast and clear. Even in the cottage, everything is super well prepared and organized, with info about the area and what to do and so on. For a nice holiday in savusavu, you will be definitely happy to stay at Gingerbread cottage @ studio.

Do you love nature, private beaches, and excellent Indian cuisine? Are you traveling alone or with a partner with whom you are on excellent terms? Do you spend more time outdoors than indoors on vacation? Are you on a tight budget? Then the Tiny Ohana may just fit the bill. While the accommodation is basic, it suited us well for a week despite numerous rain showers. The caretakers, Subash and Sunita, provided us with various excellent home-cooked meals. Our host, Gene, went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. The location is magical, with the beach steps from the tiny house and an outdoor shower that we used more frequently than the indoor one! An amazing swimming lagoon and snorkeling opportunities are within walking distance. Our taxi driver, Bablu, was readily available for excursions, taking us into town to shop a few times. Finally, while the tiny home may not be suitable for everyone due to space limitations, larger options are available on-site!

The Airbnb has panoramic ocean views, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Close to town and Savusavu airport. This stay was hands down our favorite Airbnb my husband and I have stayed in overseas. The caretaker, Zakiiaazz, is who truly made our experience amazing. She went above & beyond to show us what Fiji is truly about. She drove us around town, cooked us traditional dinners, and made recommendation after recommendation of things to see and do while on the island. All this at a very affordable rate. We are already thinking of a return trip! We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Stayed with my wife and 1 year old son. Wanted to keep away from the resorts and have a more natural rustic Fiji stay. Was very quiet with lots of nice gardens, friendly and helpful caretakers with the option of breakfast and dinners home made yummy meals, heaps of room in cottage with cold aircon, right on the beach plus a the bonus of a deep lagoon only a few hundred meters up the beach.

My stay at Bougainvilla was wonderful. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. The place has an extraordinary view over Savusavu Bay, from the terrace and from the room, you'd think you were in the sky. The host also brought me excellent exotic fruit every day. The place is clean, airy, bright and functional. The Wifi is also really good and gave me complete satisfaction. You can go into town easily thanks to a bike provided. Great snorkelling spot just 5 minutes away. A waking dream.

The beach cottage is absolutely charming, peaceful, and private and just steps away from breathtaking views of the coastline and the main house, the heartbeat of the estate. Bedelia is a superhost for a reason! She and the staff are always puts the comfort of the guest first, making sure everything is set. Superhost, super human being! The food was absolutely 5 stars everyday, healthy and hearty. Having the dogs around for a swim or stroll was lovely too. Looking for a place to feel completely at peace and full of gratitude, this is it. 100% will come back, 100% recommending. Thanks for everything, Bedelia. xo.

Lyn and Sete's place is amazing! The hosts are the most genuine, warm and kind hearted people i ever had the pleasure to meet! Their hospitality is top notch and they made me feel so welcome and at home. It felt like visiting good friends! I really enjoyed our many talks sitting out on the verandah and learnt a lot about what life is like in Fiji. Communication before arrival was excellent and Lyn informed me about everything I needed to know, from pick up to activities and the place itself. Everything was as described and better! The meals were delicious. This homestay is a true gem surrounded by magnificent, lush scenery and comes with it's own private beach! It's a nature lover's paradise and the best choice for someone who would like to detach and leave all the technology behind, enjoy the sound of the waves and many birds, explore the lush jungle or go snorkeling from the beautiful beach! We loved our stay at Sigasiga Sands. Especially loved being close to the beach, the natural swimming hole and access to kayaks. The host and resort staff are friendly, helpful and responded quickly to our needs. Breakfasts and other meals we had there were delicious. Some of the decor and furnishings are a bit dated, but we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Coconut Grove was an amazing resort to stay at. The incredibly friendly (and multi-talented) staff together with having just a few rooms to take care of gives a really boutique feel to the whole experience. The staff are so helpful and will help you plan your stay, booking tours and making reservations at restaurants for you as well as cooking meals and prepping packed lunches whenever you need them. Ronna helped us to book some scuba diving with a local dive shop (Taveuni Ocean Sports) which was an unforgettable experience, with some truly amazing corals near the island. The snorkelling around the honeymoon island is amazing, with so many fish and different types of coral to see. If you’re going to do this, would recommend going early to make sure you get some privacy as later on others staying nearby might also go there.

We stayed with Roland at his place in Dolphin Bay (Viola was away working). The view in the room was stunning - you could see the entire bay from their location, which is at the highest point on the property. We picked Roland's place because of the opportunities to dive with Roland, who is a certified dive instructor and has been living in Fiji for over 30 years as a native from Switzerland. A few points to note if you want to stay here: - It is remote. You will need to hire Roland & his team to pick you up and drop you off via boat, as there are no roads. The closest airport to fly into is Taveuni (Matei). - You will not have access to cook, not really. Meal plans aren't compulsory, but there really isn't another option unless you want to eat chips the entire time. We opted for the meal plan, and the food was incredible. - There isn't much to do. Bring a book, and enjoy your land-based time when not diving - It can be quite hot in the room with no breeze. There is no fan/AC
