Great place to stay. Close to Jaffna Market and lots of sites to see

I had a very pleasant and peaceful stay. The place was very clean, my room was as I expected. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always very helpful. The meals were all very authentic and full of the flavours of Jaffna (as requested by me), simply delicious! I was able to get to all the spots I planned as it’s easy access to all the local areas of interest as well as Jaffna town. I definitely will be staying there on my next visit! Can’t recommend them enough.

We had a fabulous stay, and the hosts are friendly and helpful! Great place!

Eine Wohlfühloase! Das Haus bietet viel Platz. Besonders der Garten mit Hängematte und die tolle Veranda gefielen uns. Ein rurales Refugium. Der richtige Ort um von der Hektik der Großstadt zu entspannen. Schnelle Busverbindung in die Innenstadt und zum Bahnhof.

Raj was extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Great to have tea, coffee, water for a small donation. Delicious and very generous breakfast for a very reasonable charge. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. We would definitely consider staying again if we return to Jaffna.

I spent 3 nights with Heyu, Micha, and little Anami (plus the dogs) and have never felt so welcomed. I learned so much about Heyu’s village, Tamil culture, and the history of Jaffna, as well as some of the wonderful projects Heyu and and Micha are leading in the town. I left feeling like I gained new friends and a deep appreciation for a region I’d never visited before, but most certainly will return to. This was a fantastic homestay experience that I’ll highly recommend to anyone.

Varunanathan was such a wonderful host! We even caught the same train to Jaffna so we took a tuk tuk together to the accommodation which was a lovely start to my experience. His wife also made me an amazing dinner one evening which I’m very grateful and Varunanathan and I had a wonderfully deep chat about life and spirituality. He’s a good human being and person and I thank him for having me 😌
