Nothing but great things to say about Tara’s place! She demonstrated excellent customer service. The house itself was SO lovely! You can tell the hosts are serious about what they do. Felt like a high-end luxurious hotel. Impeccably clean, from dish-ware to linens to bathrooms. Lots of supplies available! Tons of towels, toilet paper, toothbrushes, and even spices for simple cooking. This was my first time at an Airbnb where I actually felt at home. When you’re here, you only need to worry about vacationing. The hosts thought more about our needs than I probably did. Outside looked just like the photos: aesthetically pleasing and private! It is pretty clear that the neighborhood is going through heavy gentrification. Despite that, this location worked for us, as it was pretty central and easy to access from the highway. The beach was a quick-ish drive away, but we struggled to find parking for the public access points. Overall, we had a great stay! 5 stars without a doubt.

The house was the perfect place to host our group of friends. There was plenty of sleeping space as well as tons of open areas in the house for all of us to gather and hang out. The house was very nice, clean, and well accommodated. We were glad the host aforementioned the possibility of a neighbor chanting/yelling out behind the property as this did occur a few times. She seemed harmless, but glad we had a warning regardless! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the amazing memories!

Had an awesome stay at Sugar Sand Cottage with my family. The location is great and a short drive to various restaurants and activities. We loved the short walk (5 min) to the private beach with umbrella and chair service each day. The chair attendant had great local restaurant recommendations that we tried. The house is just like it’s shown in the pictures. We loved the layout with the porches overlooking the pond and private pool at night. Nichole was very responsive and can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Destin area.

Jaime was very welcoming and quickly responsive to any of my questions and concerns. Everything in the house, looked just like the pictures. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. I would definitely stay again and recommend this home to others.

This house was exactly what we needed, great pool that the kids loved! We had an issue with A/C when we got there but reached out to Anna and within 30 minutes a technician was there and it was fixed! Appreciate the fast response and fixing the issue.

Shelly was a great host. On our first day there we found one of kayaks had a hole she purchased a kit to repair it right away, also on the next to last we were there the microwave stopped working she had it replaced within a couple hours. My family and I loved the house and location and he will definitely look to stay there the next time we are in town

The house was more than just an AIR BNB, it was a Home! Gary and Tiffany provided a very clean and pristine home. They also provided amenities. The location of the home is close to the Harbor, Crab Island dock, Supermarkets, restaurants and more! the neighborhood was very comforting and welcoming. The home is perfect for couples, friends or family friendly get-away. I definitely recommend and will be booking with them in the near future!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ackerman Boat House! The home is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the house was stocked with all the essentials—plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, coffee, condiments, etc…,and a fully equipped kitchen with all the dishes and utensils we needed. The hosts, Derek and Marti, were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The toys provided were a huge hit with my grandkids and added an extra layer of fun to our trip. The fenced backyard gave us peace of mind while kids were playing and our pet was out. The house is located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood—just perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We truly had nothing but good things to say about this stay. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will definitely be booking again!

This stay was nothing short of perfect. Beginning with the home, everything about it was HOME. We ended up not using the downstairs bedroom. The living room was very spacious and the couch and loveseat were extremely comfortable. The blankets in the living room had quite a strong odor, but nothing that wasn’t solved with a trip through the washer. The screened in back porch was the highlight of the trip for my wife and I. Morning coffee and meal time took place out there and it was so peaceful and perfect. The upstairs king bedroom was great with the additional air unit up there to help keep things cool. We fought the fitted sheet every night, though. It didn’t fit quite right, but the bed was very comfortable. The upstairs double full bedroom was very accommodating for our two boys. The downstairs bathroom was wonderful, minus the inside shower curtain being a few sizes too small. We had to be sure and be conscious of water getting out. But overall, this home was PERFECT for us.

Man, I wish I can gate-keep this Airbnb, but I won’t because I want the hosts of this place to get recognized for having such a nice, cozy and well-kept home! We stayed at this Airbnb for nine days, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It was the best of both worlds! The home itself was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with all the essentials, including coffee, which was a thoughtful touch. After long days out, it was so nice to come back to a cozy, comfortable space where we could unwind. Our host was also great—responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-located place to stay, we highly recommend this one. We would absolutely stay here again!

This cheerful and pleasant home welcomed us after our long drive. The home was tidy inside and out and made all of us feel at home immediately (five people ages 15-77). The kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped and left us wanting for nothing. The decor and furnishings are tastefully done, with every detail very well thought out. We highly recommend this stay and would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Mike's beautiful Air Bnb. He and Amy are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable of the area. His guide book is very informative with local things to do in places to go. It's a great place to stay if you want to be Out of the traffic but close enough to enjoy everything Ft Walton has to offer. The four bedrooms have ample space, and good TVs in every room. The kitchen has everything you need. Definitely recommend a stay here. Close to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, at a fraction on "on the beach" prices.

Excellent location near the beach, golf course, & restaurants while still feeling secluded and peaceful. The home is located in a safe neighborhood with year round residents. The home was beautiful, clean, and had more amenities than anticipated. The kitchen was fully stocked…even had lots of spices. The a/c worked great and the beds and couches were super comfy. Hosts responded immediately to any and every inquiry. I highly recommend if you are in Santa Rosa Beach. We will book again if we return to the area.

The layout was spacious and perfect for our group, and the large yard was amazing—tons of room for the kids to play and enjoy the outdoors safely, while we enjoyed the scenic surroundings. The location couldn’t have been better—located right at 30A, just minutes to the beach and close to great restaurants and shops, yet tucked away in a quiet, peaceful area. Our host was truly fantastic—thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay. You can tell real care (and investment!) went into making this a warm, welcoming, and high-end retreat. One of our favorite Airbnb stays to date—we’ll definitely be back soon!

Out of all the places I have stayed this is my absolute favorite!!! The host were absolutely amazing and soo attentive and welcoming. We got into town a little early and they accommodated our needs and really made this a special trip for us. The house is gorgeous and had everything that we needed for a great stay. Whether you're looking for a staycation or just a peaceful stopover, this spot is a hidden gem—I only wish I had known about it sooner, because I would have definitely used it as an escape. We stayed here en route to our next duty station, and as a spouse of a veteran, I truly appreciated Mikayla’s understanding of the stressfulness that comes with PCSing. She went above and beyond to accommodate us, even when I needed to extend our stay by another day and a half. Reginas place was extremely beautiful, inviting, and most importantly comfortable. We really enjoyed the keyless entry as it was very convenient. The beach is right across the street & the views from the balcony are stunning. We really enjoyed sitting out on tbe balcony in the evenings. The kids loved not only the beach, but the pool and hot tub on site too. All the amentities provided such as laundry pods, snacks, a whole chest full of beach necessities, beach chairs, etc. You need it? Reginas got it. We so much enjoyed our stay in Destin and hope to return in the future.
